Hi djlinks234, are you playing the campaign solo or co-op?
Playing solo. I can quit the game and start from the last mission played but I can’t save.

Same Issue.
I was having the exact same issues but the recent Xbox one update with the new dashboard seems to have fixed the problem. I’m guessing it is some kind of software compatibility error between halo 5 and the Xbox one. I’m not sure.
I am now having this problem, whenever i save it never finishes and that then means that i am unable to open the start menu for the game. it seems that when i start the saving process, it is unable to finish so it never stops.
I am having the same issue. I seem to have to play each level a few times before it actually lets me proceed to the next level. No updates are available for the Xbox. I just recently purchased it and everything is up to date. I have two different accounts and it’s doing the same thing on both accounts.
Are there any answers to this issue? Checkpoint saved but have to restart whole mission and it sucks!
