Hi, I have posted this in the campaign bug thread but doesn’t look like there is much feedback there. Basically I am playing through the campaign solo on legendary just finished the mission “tip of the Spear” clicked through the post scree and started the next mission, quit that and back out to the menu and noticed it hasn’t recorded that I have beaten “tip of the Spear” Here are screen shots of post game report and one of the mission select not showing ive beaten it 2020 01 11 — Postimages2020 01 11 (1) — Postimages
Is there anything I can do to have this rectified other than spend another 50 mins beating the mission?

Same thing for me on The Package. The game just randomly decides not to count levels as completed so you have to play again.
AFAIK this also happens on Xbox with SLASO playlists because there are always people complaining levels not counting after experiencing hell to finish them so don’t expect a fix anytime soon if ever.
I’ve read that you should fully go through each of the setting tabs when setting up a session. Accept level, accept difficulty, accept options, accept skulls, and Start. If you need to resume, just resume. This happened to me on Nightfall Legendary and I’ve been doing this method since, seemingly avoiding more game goofs.

interesting, I’ll give it a go moving forwards. although I feel that I did that anyway, I cant be sure though
I also got this problem, finished one mission on legendary and it said I didn’t do it. I recommend no one does campaign on legendary until it’s fixed.
I honestly even forgot this was a problem since there are so many issues with the game right now I’m just starting to forget other things wrong with the game.

Lol dw, I managed to finish it after doing another retry. As much as it was painful.

Source please? I’ve experienced this issue thinking that activating score might be the culprit. For my current (and very first) Legendary playthrough I had to redo ONI: Sword Base and Nightfall, Winter Contingency did register however. And now, it’s Long Night of Solace that didn’t register and I hate this mission.
My very first playthrough, on Heroic, did register however.
I’ve seen threads dating back to 2014 about this, it’s mindblowing that it was never fixed…

If 6 year old threads were addressing this and it not fixed yet then that is a really big red flag jesus christ.

No official source, only another user post and interpreted success based on my experience.
That’s pretty whack if it’s been happening since then. Major yikes.

Agree. I was part of the third Flight, and when they announced Reach would be out in 2019 I told friends that it just wasn’t ready for shipping.
Granted, they did address the input lag a bit, they seem to be working on stuff that should’ve been there day-one (sound issues, downsampling & post-processing, UI, server browser etc…) but this just gets me thinking… What else is/will be broken?
Anyhow, I can confirm it has nothing to do with activating the scoring HUD whatsoever. Just went through Long Night of Solace in Legendary, again, and it registered. I did activate the IWHBYD Skull and went through each of the settings tabs as suggested. I’ll keep you posted for the other missions, and will probably create a support ticket… For what it’s worth.
