CAMPAIGN NEEDS TO BE MORE REWARDING

Now, I know that many players do not play Campaign, but for the players who do, they need to be rewarded some how!

First off, when the game is completed on Legendary, you get nothing but an achievement for doing so.
In my opinion, that is ridiculous and needs to be changed.
For example, in Halo 4, once you completed the game on Legendary you got Masterchief’s armour to display when playing online!
When I personally finished Legendary on Halo 5, yeah I felt so great for doing so and getting 1000/1000 gamerscore, but nothing in-game was given to me.
I would of hoped to be given some type of armour, weapon skin or req packs for it.
Secondly, I believe for the people that speedrun and love playing the campaign over and over again (which I do), should gain req points for doing so.
I do not see why that cannot be implemented and would be great for players who prefer to play campaign over multiplayer.
If this request would to be read by any 343 members, I would love this idea to be looked over because I would personally be so happy if it was implemented in an update in the future!

Thanks

343 doesn’t get money if they reward players for in-game accomplishments or achievements like they do with REQ Packs.

True, some sort of recognition would be nice to show off

Get your filthy logic out of here!

Beat the game on legendary on my second playthrough.

Got the achievement. Felt a sigh of relief for finally finishing it.

Watched the extra cutscene, felt super pumped for Halo 5.

Then I just felt dead inside because I don’t have anything to show off to friends. It felt more like i did it as a completionist than for fun or a grand prize, it really took the value out of it to me.

Yeah I understand no money is being made, but some form of recognition at least for completing legendary should be implemented! I mean, that wouldn’t kill their company would it?

EXACTLY Warchild!! That’s how I felt! And I find it to be bad that it has to be that way

yeah… i would have like to get an armor or something for finishing the campaign on legendary… hope some day it happens… doubt it anyway…

Much like Halsey said, I fear that removing Campaign scoring from Halo 5 was a product of intelligent design this time. It was on purpose.

343 ‘forgets’ plenty of things, but Campaign scoring wasn’t usually one of them. It’s an integral addition to Halo and they’ve fully respected it until now. But they want you to play Halo 5 online at all costs, and it’s looking like they’ve decided to do it by force, so It’s up to us (yet again) to demonstrate that removing features accomplishes the exact opposite.

If they want us to get hooked and keep playing Halo 5, removing weekly challenges isn’t a good way to go about it, that’s for dang sure. Don’t care how ‘addictive’ the ‘statistics’ say microtransactions are.

I got really depressed after doing my co-op legendary too, because we did it as a full team and everyone asked “Is that it” and I had to be the one to put a damper on their mood and say “Yup.” Then they didn’t believe me… either that or they were in denial.
