> 1. Vehicle explosions are dull and need to be more realistic or need to have more blast, smoke and effects.
Vehicles have almost always just exploded with some fire or smoke effects before despawning after a bit, what more visual indicator do you need for a vehicle you’re literally unable to use anymore? They give a wind up whine to let you know they’re going to blow and then do so.
> 2. Hammer effects should be different depending in terrain if its metal , we should hear metal terrain effect, if its soil we should hear a different effect when it hits soil, same with sand.
Gonna be honest, I didn’t really pay too much attention because I can’t hear much over the loud boom of the swing anyway.
> 3. Grunts are too small in relation to the world, their shields look like they are not affected by illumination.
Grunts have always been kind of small, they stand at average human height. That’s like complaining Miranda Keyes was small standing next to Chief. As for the shields, what exactly are you talking about here?
> 4. When brutes fall down to the floor their eyes are still open. WTF guys.
That’s…kind of realistic though? People can die with their eyes open, as someone who has never died (obviously), I can’t really tell you from experience if it’s natural reflex to close your eyes. Maybe someone who specializes in caring for/understanding the dead can help you with that.
> 5. The forerunner camp tank that explodes needs more work, should be more animated.
Forerunner camp tank…are you talking about the Banished salvage sites?
> 6. Hammer needs a horizontal swing attack ( this will provide a fresher combat expierence)
I mean, we’ve seen it happen before, a Brute Chieftain did it in ODST, but it makes sense that a Brute can do it, they’re big and are considerably stronger. Mostly I think it’s the size rather than the strength, but I don’t think a Spartan could swing it horizontally, plus all the power is built into the vertical swing.
> 7. Game needs more particle effects and probably a small amount of volumetric fog.
Fog I can understand, but you have to be careful with overloading particle effects, I’d be worrying about my computer crashing on me if there’s too many particle effects. Especially if I was someone who didn’t have a strong PC build.
> 8. Weapon shots should have effect on enemy armors and shields, the shotgun for example dont have any splinter effect on any surface.
I don’t think that’s a feature we absolutely need, as nice and cool as it would seem, I’m beginning to suspect you might just be a troll?
