So today I had planned on going back through the Halo 4 campaign solo on Ledgendary, but I had planned to do it somewhat out of order. I have already beaten the game co-op on ledgendary, and did a few missions out of order (started with mission 3, went to second to last mission, did missions 1 and 2, and then the final one). So, I figured I would to something similar this go around, but when I went to the campaign menu, only the mission Dawn was available to me. I’ve beaten the game both solo and co-op, so its strange that they weren’t available. Even stranger, I know for a fact that they all used to show up in the menu, because I saw them there a few months ago. So, is there any way that I can get these missions back so that I can play them at will?
I’m afraid that you have experienced a glitch…
What has happened is that your Campaign progress has been reset… In order to fix it, you’ll just have to play through them again.
While I am not aware of the direct cause of this unfortunate glitch, it has happened to me before throughout various Halo titles.
[/li]- In Halo 3, this glitch would result in the campaign being reset, and the Skulls being reset. While you would still have the achievments, the missions themselves, the Skulls, and even the Hayabusa armor would be gone.

Halo: Reach had the most terrifying incarnation of this glitch. What would happen, is that the Campaign would be reset as usual, but all of the player’s progress would be gone… Your rank would reset, your armor would be gone, and your stats would be reset…

Halo 4’s version would only reset the Campaign…
Thanks. Thats sort of what I was afraid of. Do you think if I play through the campaign on say Heroic, would I be able to play any mission on legendary? Or do I need to play through the campaign on legendary to unlock each mission?
Any difficulty will work, as long as you play it through one continuous save.
Use the Start Solo Campaign feature for the most reliable result, that’s how I got it to work.
