Campaign Mission That I Would Add

I feel that Halo 5’s campaign was too short and Legendary was unrewarding. So I thought that maybe adding another mission to the game would help. You could only play it if you’ve beat the campaign on Legendary. It would take place right after the cutscene where Fireteam Osiris gets Blue Team out of the Cryptum, and you would play as Blue Team. It would require 343 to add the Pelican and Phantom as flyable vehicles
Part 1: One Final Effort…
This section is just fighting through some Prometheans and leftover Covenant to search for vehicles to get off of Genesis.

Part 2: … Is All That Remains
This section is a vehicle section. Everyone gets into an aerial vehicle, and it’s just aerial combat from there, kind of like the Broadsword trench run from Halo 4. Instead, you’ll fight Phaetons, Banshees, and Phantoms until you reach the end. Add a new cutscene and that’s it.

Beating the mission on Legendary without dying would give you something. I don’t know what, but something.

Pretty nice idea. Having some extra challenge would be cool too. Overall goo ideas

I like it, but the names should be reserved for the last game Chief is in. Perhaps that order or mission one being “One Final Effort” and the final mission being “Is All That Remains”

I love this idea!

Thanks, but no thanks. The campaign is superb as is, especially on legendary. Don’t screw it up.

Yeah, I wondered how they managed to get off an unknown planet without assistance. Maybe the monitor helped again!

I was just thinking to fill out the campaign a bit, because I found it weird that the game almost immediately cut from Genesis to Sanghelios without giving it too much thought.

That would also work.

Tradition would require it to be a warthog run, not a pelican ride. Anyway that’s one mission we would just need about 5 more.

Well, maybe there could be a Warthog run to get to the Pelicans and things in time? I don’t know, it was just an idea I had.

Wasn’t being dismissive, just pointing out that Warthog runs in he final levels of oddly numbered halo games are a thing.

I knew you weren’t, I just wanted to add to my idea to uphold that tradition.
