Basically first a few cutscenes like when john was first abducted by oni fast forward to when he first put on his armor then to when h3 first encountered the covenant then when samuel died then the encounter with the flood
Ok this would be the mission aspects start on the pillar of autumn then when your about half way through it switches to the mission 343 guilty spark then switches to when u first see the gravemind then your first encounter with the didact and then finally cortanas death then u wake up and yes it still would be during halo 5s timeline when u awake .basically this game is supposed to be dark so u see through chiefs eyes everything he encountered that made him what he is today
I like your idea, but it would have to be concise. Not many gamers will be willing to sit through all of that if it lasts 20 minutes or so. Even if it would help them understand the game’s lore.
Perhaps the “level” would offer some brief bits of gameplay, to test his armour and the player’s preferences in amining, much like the Armory in Halo 2. The rest can be quick flashbacks to major points in the Chief’s life to make the player’s familiar with the lore and his experiences, like you said.
Sounds like a good way to begin the game.
I think this is a great way to start off the next halo game. Maybe even show flashbacks of his life we have never known before.
So, let me get this straight, this would be a mission consisting solely of flashbacks to Master Chief’s past? Would they be playable scenes, or would they simply be viewed through a cinematic?
Either way, I think it’s a great idea! It really would be a nice little view at Chief’s humanity.
A little bit of both also I thought it would be cool if u heard voices of people he has lost samuel johnson both the keyes and cortana
