I think there needs to be Matchmaking for the Campaign in Halo 5. Reach had Matchmaking for Campaign and it worked just fine, I think it is something Halo needs to have return. It be nice to just hop in and find people to play Legendary with, rather than having to take to the forums to recruit and set up exact times. It’d be really nice to see matchmaking for campaign. Either the way Reach did it, or with the option to host (and set up the mission/difficulty/skull/etc. then have matchmaking throw people in your lobby) or Join (Join someone’s lobby). You could have filter like: Search for Legendary difficulty only, this specific mission, etc. I think it’d be a great idea and would work well. What do you guys think?
Yes we need campaign matchmaking again, it’s fun to play with strangers, and a great way for people to complete co-op when they don’t really know anyone on Xbox live
Right? It makes getting Legendary playthroughs done so much easier. When no one on your friends list wants to, so your only other option is to take to the forums and hope that people are down and available when you are…
this would be truly amazing
For sure! I would love for campaign matchmaking to come back.

I think campaign matchmaking is a bare necessity feature that should be in every game and should not be taken out unless that company is a complete -Yoink- bag. and wants to steal from its community.
It’s also easier for people who are trying to arrange times to play together on here, because usually its players from North America who want to play but at times which are too late for someone across the pond.
Why not? I usually go for the solo and basic legendary achievements in one go, but i’m sure some people just want to take it slow.

Right? It’d just make finding people to play with so much easier! Especially if you met people through matchmaking and made friends. I hope 343 is doing something like this, and if not, I hope they can see this and put it in. They still have 5 months to work with.
Would love this to be added. Like playing on legendary but would also like for it to be fun (co-pp) and not frustrating beyond belief (by myself)
How 343? How did you guys with over 10 years of experience working solely on the same series screw up the first title of one of the biggest games of the year of the newest generation of consoles right before holiday season? You had split-screen coop in Reach as well as Campaign matchmaking and just 5 years later, I’m able to stream movies or Twitch as well as play Halo at the exact same time but you expect us to believe that “the technology just wasn’t there” to include those features. You guys have seriously lost touch with what made us all love this franchise. There’s zero sense of accomplishment to unlocking armor or completing the campaign or really, anything honestly. The campaign is nothing like the commercials or what we were lead to believe or worthwhile at that and basic features are missing such as CAMPAIGN MATCHMAKING and CLAN FEATURES! You screwed this series up unbelievably and I’m now off to buy COD:BO3 because Treyarch listened to the community and gave it what it wanted. Not once did its developers say “we’re talking about it for the next game” like Frank O’Connor of 343 when it’s fan base asked for specific CORE FEATURES. Great job guys. applauds
