So, it could be possible.
But the UNSC Spirit Of Fire got lost in Space 2531. I don’t think that it’s possible to survive 25 years on a UNSC ship. Maybe in cryosleep, but it somehow would not fit in the story after Halo 3.
firstly the ship is not in slipspace, it doesn’t have a slipspace drive.
secondly i believe that in cryo sleep theres no actual expiration date.

While your optimism is admired, you really should’ve used the search bar dude. I think your wanting to make a post got the better of you

sounds pretty good. but there would have to be a backstory to it.

I don’t think that will happen like that, but they should in some way explain what happened to the spirit of fire at some point. they couldn’t have been discovered prior to the discovery of the first halo ring because they knew about the flood, and humanity didnt know abou the flood until halo 1. we’ll see.

There’s one very big problem with this: The Spirit of Fire is not stuck in slipspace. They detonated their slipspace drive, and are stuck traveling in normal space. This is why it would take so long to get home (assuming they ever do).
Cool as it would be to learn the fate of the crew of the Spirit of Fire, I doubt they will make an appearance in Halo 4. I could be wrong, but I don’t think I am.
