With 6 years of development and missing key features such as co-op campaign and forge. This campaign better the best in the series, with tons of replayability. Otherwise the base multiplayer will keep me intrigued for a month and I’ll lose interest.
6 years…
6… long years… some might say.
But I agree, and I very much hope it is. I look forward to spending way too long exploring the world like I do with every open world game.

If I can get 20-30 hours of casual campaign gameplay from start to finish, then I’ll be happy.
I doubt it would be filled with content the size of an Assassins creed or Far Cry but I bet it will have something in-between to keep people interested.
wonder if the extra hiccup they have is introducing a drop in/out feature to the campaign for it to be part of their online service.

When Halo 5 released I solo’d the legendary campaign in about 3-4 hours I think. With the absence of forge and coop play they really need to have a solid MP lineup and plenty of maps. Or have an award winning campaign that’s somehow the longest Halo campaign yet. Let’s be real though, how many first person shooter campaigns end up being longer than 5 hours? That’s a genuine question. If someone knows one please point it out to me.

Lol couldn’t agree more with you. Although sometimes the quality of the campaign is more important than dragging it out. I’ll still go back and play Modern Warfare (2019) campaign from time to time.
But with 6 years of development and many key features missing. At this point I am expecting an “award-winning” campaign. With tons of replayability
The most important was the campaign (coop, assassination, graphism, biome …) at launch, all of the rest (forge, multiplayer …) could wait many months
