Besides my handle choosing skills and some dry humour, I would like to share with you the idea of having a Multiplayer and Campaign objective game mode in Halo and hopefully get a opinion or vote if you like.
I hope you become persuaded through these poetic words and phrases:

So to get started, I have found that parts of the Halo community have heard through various articles and other forms of media, a way to combine what might be one of the best aspects of Halo by allowing players to support one another both cooperatively and competitively. That being said, in my opinion Halo ODST and Reach’s firefight seem to hint at the idea of mixing a halo campaign mission with a multiplayer objective to earn credits, armor, effects, and more. However, proposing a campaign and multiplayer game mode, there may also be a way to salvage parts of Halo from teammates and opponents. Lastly, perhaps this kind of system might tell a story for your game style while also giving you a competitive rush by assembling skill and armor sets needed to amplify your persona in the community

Are you suggesting something along the lines of Halo 4’s Spartan Ops?

Yes, however, I would like to eliminate the idea of only having a game mode in a social or competitive multiplayer environment. I also would like to see something take place altogether outside of Halo and maybe combine gamers who are wanting to explore regions of the universe spartans protect. Furthermore, this is what seems to define halo and also contribute a wealth of experiences. And finally, I hope players can see the depth or scope this universe offers, so that they too feel a sense of contribution when playing.

Halo 5 should have an open MMO, Skyrim kind of world not for the story campaign but for YOUR spartan’s campaign, YOUR spartan’s story. You can ride around in a warthog, mongoose, falcon or anything and just do anything with your friends. Use the shared-world shooter idea. It was a great idea with those public events, just make the open-world feel alive, have outer-world colonies get attacked and whole loads of people join the fight to save it. Have flora and fauna be completely different on different worlds, like Evolve or James Cameron’s Avatar. Also, for these open worlds keep custom loadouts and armor abilities, you’re going to need them to fight the Covenant, the Flood, and the Prometheans. They can be taken from multiplayer for balancing but why take them from the Halo universe when they are perfectly logical in a world where Prometheans can teleport and dash in a zig-zag fashion, stab you then throw you body off the island in the blink of an eye.
I think that’s what this guy is getting at, I’ve been wanting this from Halo for awhile now.

Yep, this also. I don’t always reference or compare games with others, such as Halo and Skyrim, but the idea of possibly phasing in and out of combat sounds really awesome! That would be pretty cool to merge Spartan abilities in one. Never thought of it before, but it would be pretty sweet.
