Campaign Expectations

Games Halo 5: Guardians

In this thread post everything you expect to see in the Halo 5: Guardians campaign.
Structure it similar to this (Just a guide, you can do whatever you want…)

  • -Type of campaign structure (open world or linear or even both)?- -Number of campaign missions?- -Protagonist/s?- -Antagonist/s?- - What type of enemies?- -Any civil wars, if so who between?- -When?- -Where?- -What major events are going to happen?- Cliff hanger? If so what would it be?- Flood?- Spartan abilities?POST YOUR ANSWERS TO EACH BELOW.

I do not really think the flood back, at least not in halo 5, I think everything will be focused on the ONI and Promethean, also including the covenant storm.

As for the number of missions, I think it will be about 25, because 343 said that would be long.

I would love the arbiter was a playable character once again because he looks incredible with his new armor lol

I expect the campaign will be linear, The campaign will have you mostly fight the covenant with a healthy mix of prometheans tossed in. Jul Mdama will play a major role and possibly be a last boss there will be a major plot twist possibly oni or dr halsey betrays locke, locke joins master chiefs cause. as far as major events i think the didact will return in some shape or form and cortana will be revived in some shape or form but not in a way expected. i think it would be cool if a spartan team was dispatched to put down the chief/locke/and the arbiter maybe spartan palmer could be apart of that

I imagine they campagin will be both the longest becuase they have alot to explain with Agent Locke and Arbiter then they need to explain what Master chief is doing and whats with Cortana, also Dr Halsey…

So ya i expect a long campaign…at least i hope so, the main reason i buy Halo is for the campaign.
The part im most excited for is switching character roles like in Halo 2.

But i have a question that has been intriguing me

It shows the voice actors for Halo 5 and one that i saw was Gabriel Thorne from Spartan Ops

So my question is will he return in Halo 5 why and how??Possibilitys?

As far as I know, Thorne is the new leader of Fireteam Majestic due to Paul DeMarco being KIA in Halo - Escalation.

oooh i see, and another thing did u see the epilogue and prologue to H2A when it showed Agent Locke and his new crew in background, do u think Thorne could be in that crew of spartans?
