Campaign Ending

Not sure if anyone else has thought about this but the 4 main Halo games (CE, 2, 3 and 4) have all had endings that make a pattern

Halo CE ended with a warthog drive

Halo 2 ended with a boss

Halo 3 ended with a warthog drive

Halo 4 ended with a boss (of sorts)

So this means we should be due for another warthog drive to end our campaign right? or will 343 break the pattern?

Halo CE’s 1st mission was inside a UNSC space ship with Covenant invaders

Halo 4’s 1st mission was inside a UNSC space ship with Covenant invaders

Halo CE’s 2nd mission was set on a large open grassy environment, and the level was named after the planet.

Halo 4’s 2nd mission was set on a large open grassy environment, and the level was named after the planet.

Halo CE’s 3rd mission was set in a rocky area at night time in the dark.

Halo 4’s 3rd mission was set in a rocky area at night time in the dark.

h4 liked following a similar flow to CE’s campaign.

The problem is it didn’t learn any of the sandboxyness.

We also tend to blow something up at the end of every numbered game that isn’t h2.

Honestly I can imagine it being an escape run in which you make use of Spartan abilities, sliding under rocks and such.

I was planning on making this a custom game…

I’m betting Warthog!

Or this time we should drive Broadsword or any Covenant air vehicles to escape.

I’d play that.

why not both i mean i could like to fight boss (something like tartarus) and after that escape with warthog. also halo 3 kind of had boss 343 quilty spark i mean but that wasnt exactly hard so im not sure if that should be counted.

H4 also had the spaceship part before the boss on the last mission, following the tradition of risky vehicle segments.

True. We need more of a sandbox this time. I think Reach perfected it.
