According to most blog posts I see, everyone states that Halo 5 has a good multiplayer, but a terrible campaign. The campaign was so terrible because they did not live up to the potential the advertisements created. One possibility to fix this mistake is for 343 to have DLC for campaign. I know that messes with the cannon side of halo, but they could add levels that make it seem more like Chief did go rogue and Locke was actually hunting him down. Before the Halo 5 release, I heard that 343 scaled the campaign down from four times Halo 4’s length to two times. Is this where the hunt was left out? Obviously 343 wanted the game to end how it did and the only additions to the campaign would have been the hunt for Chief. Also, if 343 truly stated that it could have been longer, the levels taken out had to be in development. Why don’t they finish the levels and give us them in the form of DLC. 343 should do this considering they lied to us in the advertisements, however, I doubt 343 will go out of their way to do this. It would be too much additional work for them.
Josh Holmes has already said that 343 “do not currently have any plans to release future campaign content for Halo 5: Guardians”
