and working on the multiplayer is a compleet pointless thing to do now since there have compleet fail with it at all and lost all the trust from the players.
so fixing the multiplayer now is not going to do anything good.
since if there wane fix things good there need to remake the compleet multiplayer mode again from scrap since the way there are doing it now has compleet fail.
now there is 1 problem with it.
i cant find the game play trailer not more where there have told it about the campaign open world about the dlc system there are going to use.
but what is the point now to show any proof about something what there have scrap all.
if there not have scrap the campaign DLC then its a other story but since there have scrap it all you not need any proof at all for something like that if there have told its getting 2 DLC’s or not.
It really depends on how 343i goes forward with continuing support for Infinite. If they continue to try to manage it as a solo studio, they will probably only be able to focus on MP stuff, and even less substantially than before. Mainly just whatever they can put a price tag on. Armor, and very occasional map or game mode releases (more occasional than it is now)
However, if they rope in other studios like Saber Interactive and Certain Affinity to work on future content updates, we will probably see campaign DLC, and larger multiplayer expansions in the future. Probably even better ones, considering those studios made some of the better Halo content that released in the last decade.
Typically Certain Affinity has helped with multiplayer assets for 343.
They were the ones behind the DLC Maps of Halo Reach, Halo 4, Halo 5, and the entire multiplayer build-up of Halo 2 Anniversary.
Certain Affinity was founded by ex-Bungie members. So like 8 of the team worked on Halo CE and Halo 2.
Ironic if you add in the fact that for about a decade 343 had a strict “No hiring Ex-Bungie employees” rule.
So instead of hiring ex-members of Bungie they just contracted a team of them out and relied heavily on their expertise.
That’s because it never existed. The entire campaign DLC was misinformation from the beginning. Most people assumed, because of how Infinite ended and how the game is live service, that there would be some sort of story driven campaign DLC. But this was never the case.
Pre-launch there was talks about possibilities of expanding the campaign. But post-launch Infinites “10 year lifecycle” quickly died. It’s been planned for while to just do a full new game. But we’ll see how that’s handled. Most likely future campaigns will be done by a different studio and 343 will handle multiplayer. The team at 343 will get more information on the future come Monday during a meeting with Xbox leadership.
the idea that this 10 year plan= campaign dlcs lulz. especially given how bad the player retention has been and therefore how little money they’ve made off monetization. 343 never even said they’d do campaign DLC as well which i am glad another poster said. you’re getting multiplayer support but the idea this one game lasts 10 years is dead now, i’d give it another year or 2 at best and then onto the newest halo after.
you sure? cause some of it were team leads from the art department and campaign side apparently. pretty odd layoffs to get rid of leadership positions.
now i have done is some more good research’s about it.
on your point about the 2 DLC’s the campaign will get is that you got it right on that point that there never have told that so far i have found it.
so on that point i was wrong with it.
but after reading more and more i have found 2 artikels from back in 2020 that are interesting to read.
its true there not have told about the 2 dlcs the campaign gets.
but the thing is more that there have told it back then that the campaign was getting contant update’s and there wane keep it doing for its 10 year life span.
this is one of the text from 2020 there have make confirms by then self.
here are also the 2 artikels links if you wane read the compleet story also:
Like I said there was originally talk about the possibility of expanding the story through the live service experience. But after Halo Infinite launched and started to have problems those plans never got passed the talking points. Halo Infinites 10 year lifecycle is probably no longer part of the plan.
then why make a promice in the first place.
you know also good that making big promice to the communety is not good if you not know you can keep then for 100%.
since making big promice has its big risk’s also that can destroy a game for good or a compleet serie’s.
a lot off game serie’s have been destroy by this type promice’s all there have done and pay the price for it.
Once again there was never an official promise made. No one from the studio flat out said campaign DLC was coming. It was all clickbait news headlines and rumors completely based off assumptions.
and what about the one’s that have buy the campaign mode there have now a incomplete campaign mode what not gets any update’s.
do you think there are happy now that there game there have pay for has become useless more.
