I’m sorry, but your reply made no sense.
if the multiplayer is playable good then why is the population still on its lowst point and has also the worst reputation still.
if it was good then the population need also become better and its reputation.
Well I can tell you one thing’s for sure, I don’t think anybody in their right mind is going to buy “Halo 7 The Endless” if Halo Infinite is abandoned to make that instead
Majority of people don’t play campaign, why would they pick campaign dlc over multiplayer, campaign is pay once and done, multiplayer has many more ways to make money, so yea ir sucks campaign dlc is canceled makes sense, do you get that?
If they went back to tying in the MP to purchasing the SP campaign, people would buy it.
You’d be surprised how many people spend thousands of hours replaying Campaigns in MCC especially. Plus MCC has PVE challenges and a ton of achievements, so there’s that too. I’ve seen dozens of polls about why people play Halo games, and the Campaign always beats Multiplayer and Customization by an ENORMOUS landslide. I personally play for the multiplayer, which is why I don’t like Infinite at all, but 6 of my irl friends just play Campaigns on Legendary aaaaalllll theee tiiiimmmeeee bro idk why. The Campaign is just that important to some people
I know halo campaign is important but the money is In multiplayer, i personally know alot of people that go straight into multiplayer and don’t even try campaign, so it depends on who u talk to. Either way all I’m saying is that it’s makes sense to choose multiplayer over campaign
One of the devs just announced campaign DLC was never in the works to begin with.
He said: “I ran these bullet points by a few people. While it’s true that 343 is focused on multiplayer, the stuff about campaign DLC being scrapped is false (I don’t think there was much of that planned in the first place), and a lot of this is either wrong or just speculation.”

All the talk of campaign DLC ever coming were just made up baseless theories.
Honestly, I bet if we could go back before we got the game, most of us would not get the campaign… Right?
if the multiplayer make’s the money why have there not threat it much better last year since so far i have see there have threat it not good at all and only have make it worse.
and if the multiplayer become’s crap like we see now then you destroy also the game compleet with its reputation.
that means if the multiplayer is the main focus then there most threat it good from the start and not like we have see now since now there are only losing money on it since it has a compleet worst reputation and lost a lot off the playerbase trust.
now there got a chance with the open world campaign mode to make the damage less worse for the game but thats not going to happing any more since there have destroy the last part from the game also.
Well they aren’t making another Halo game if you’ve fired all the campaign content creators. 6 and 2 3s right there.
You make it seem like the multiplayer is unplayable, the multiplayer side has some issues yes but it’s completely playable, I’m not going to argue with you cause I know what I’m saying is right considering that’s what the news is. Multiplayer over campaign no matter how you slice it.
I hope your friend(s) escaped the cull - and are holding up ok.
If the last decade of halo has taught me anything, is that halo fans will buy just about any game with the name halo on it.
let me tell you this i give no crap about halo infinite multiplayer at all since there have make the wrong choose’s with it that i only care about the campaign mode.
if the multiplayer not have any permanete playlist to choose out from its no fun at all.
if there use the most hate system in any game at all the force crossplay then some people not play the multiplayer.
if it has no PVE mode like firefight then people skip it.
there are people that care about the campaign mode now only since there not like the new multiplayer system at all.
and if the multiplayer is good where are the people then since so far i know it has never recover from the big crash from last year at all its only staying on its lowst population at all.
What I am going to say is based off my own first hand experience and views, with some sprinkling of data thrown in. So, you are free to disagree with these points - just sharing them from my perspective.

Halo tends to now have a more older crowd than other titles that maintain consistently high player counts. This isn’t a major factor, but it does play a small part. Now looking at base numbers it’s not much off from COD in terms of age overall, but “active” crowd is where the numbers shift older in a higher percentage. Does the novelty not appeal to gen z? Is the older crowd more busy with other things to not play as much? There would need to be a good deep dive into player data and stats.

The game itself is playable just fine. It has some balance issues but so do all major AAA titles of this nature. It’s part of the landscape and isn’t a 343i or Halo unique issue. Desync is a problem, but it shouldn’t be an every match issue either.

The main issue, IMO, is one that has been beat to death - lack of content. New maps - new weapons - new playlists - new game types - etc are why people do not come back daily like they do other games. The novelty isn’t there as the same handful of BTB maps, for example, can get boring. Maybe having modes, like infection, would bring in the younger crowd I spoke of, maybe having more consistent updates that involve older lore would make the older crowd come back… until they do it, we won’t know.
Listen, you can like whatever you want, I’m a halo fan I want nothing more than to see the game to succeed in all aspects. I can reverse what your saying and we’re still where we are now. If campaign mode was made to bring in players then why is multiplayer not getting canceled instead?
since there now have scrap the campaign DLC’s is also the last hope i got for halo infinite gone since that was the only thing left.
and its not only me but a lot off people got there hope’s up that the campaign dlc can restore the halo serie’s what better.
but since there scrap it there are no hope up at all its the same that people do not trust the developing company any more.
if you look on social media now its 100 time’s more worse then on the forum.
@MAGICALGROGU the points you make are right that the multiplayer has a desync problem and a contant problem.
but do you know it has also a playlist problem since if you look to halo 5 and halo 4 there both got a lot off permanete playlist to choose out from and halo infinite has Zero permanete playlist only few to choose out from that are also in a rotation.
and you know also that halo infinite has broke a lot off records in the worst things ever.
lowst launch maps, lowst playlist, lowst new contant, most broken systems.
@VlCtheVIPER since there use the multiplayer item shop as a cach crap now more.
since in the campaign mode there is no item shop at all.
then please tell me this.
the multiplayer is the only way for then to earn money why do there not have threat it a lot better by fixing the desync problem or make sure there is a good contant flow with new maps and weapons and stuff like that?
Two of them did, for now. Several others weren’t so lucky.
They were working on all those issues, the problem is that they were taking to long to actually release a fix. Now with the focus solely on multiplayer hopefully those will be sooner rather than later now
