Same crash here, it’s a blocking error (Halo Wars 2, updated on 3/20, XB1). I was playing “Under the Dark” on 3/20 when I got booted to a screen that said it needed an update. Unfortunately, I was in the middle of a battle so I had pressed whatever key told it to go ahead and update. Since that time, when I enter the mission I hear the dialog during the loading but then when it’s loaded and I press “A”, it goes black for a few seconds then out to my xbox dashboard. I tried restarting the game, uninstalling and reinstalling but no change.

I was on “Under the Dark” also and the dialog loads and the screen turns black and brings me to Xbox dashboard. No option for update tho?

Same here. On the foundry act III mission. It will start the pro log but not the actual mission itself. Please fix this.

I was half way through ‘Last Stand’ and the pro log worked fine but as soon as I went to the mission it would crash.

Campaign is still unplayable. Been that way since update. Mission briefing loads and when press start game crashes and goes to dashboard. Please fix or give refund. Pretty sure it’s illegal to sell a game that is not playable.

Have you had any response from 343 about This, I’m getting the same issues on Xbox one aswell

I literally just broke the seal and installed the game less than 3 hours ago. when it reached ready to play I tried the tutorial and it crashed the game. I waited till the game was fully installed, tried the tutorial again and it crashed the game. tried to started the campaign got through the opening cutscene. after it the video it crashed the game. ive tried restarting my xbox, cleaning the disc, and doing a hard restart. but all it has done so far is crash.

Same issue here on Xbox, bought the game on the weekend (disc). Every time i start the campaign, tutorial etc… the game crashes. Hard reset, reinstall didn’t work.

I just bought this game today installed it and every time i try to play the campaign or a multiplayer game after i hit the A button to continue during the briefing the game locks up for a few seconds goes black and boots me to the dashboard ive even tried uninstalling it and reinstalling the game and the same issue happens is there going to be a fix for this?

After about 2 hours with and xbox rep they told me it only happens to people in the xbox insider. So i reported ot to them. I do not have an eta on when its fixed though

Its all good i got a update on this issue i took the disc back to the store got my money back then proceeded to buy the digital ultimate edition on cdkeys.com for 34 quid and it works fine no issues i think the cd was not working properly which is odd because there was no scratches or blemishes on the disc whatsoever anyway im glad i can play it now :slight_smile:
