Just reporting a problem I’ve hit a few times now. During the campaign (twice during Halo CE and once in Halo2) the game freezes up, audio goes nuts and then the game crashes. Upon restarting the game lost all progress that had been completed so far in the level.

Been having the same issue, although only on Halo 2. Every time I play the Delta Halo mission, as soon as i get out of the “Nothing But Jackal” portion and head to the next ammo drop zone, drones show up, and my game freezes. Audio plays a static tone, and then the game crashes. Happened multiple times in the exact same place.
I am having the same problem in Halo 2 in the Delta Halo mission. My game crashed when I tried to load my saved game from yesterday, so I had to restart the mission. Just before I got to the “Nothing but Jackal” part, my game froze, just like yours, but my Xbox also crashed and restarted. This happened several times, and I am honestly getting tired of replaying the same mission for it to crash again.
Edit: If I try to resume the campaign, I lose all of my save data, so I start at the beginning of the mission every time.
Same here. Tried finishing Delta Halo twice, but both times crash after the nothing but jackets section when Cortana starts talking, screen goes black and Xbox restarts.

This has happened twice; once on the Nothing but Jackals area. This happened on my original disc and kinda damaged it so I immediately hard rebooted my console.
Silent cartographer on Halo CE is unplayable for me, tried 10times now and its crashes straight after opening cutscene. ruined me and my fiancees legendary playlist, as we cant skip that mission when using playlist mode. Broken game.
Just happened to me 3 times on Assault on the Control Room in Halo: CE. What the Hell? All they had to do was copy and paste from the Anniversary Edition.
But hey, at least I can get a constant alert that I have movies available somewhere in the extras right?

I figured it out! Aim towards the grunts running towards the door and don’t stop aiming that way. The SECOND you get out of Foehammer’s Pelican, go to Classic graphics, I just did it and it worked so far.
hopefully the campaign update today fixes some of the glitches

This has happen a few times to me. Last night playing split-screen co-op H2A Gravemind on Heroic, the game crashed loading the level end cutscene. All progress lost and no achievements. Put down the controller for the rest of the night after that.
My progress in Halo CE campaign keeps being lost. I play on legendary and usually play a mission to completion when I can, but the two times I have Save/Quit, I lose the progress entirely because it doesn’t actually save when leaving the game.
The first time was halfway through mission 7. Progress was lost. The second time, I saved on Mission 10 near the end. On my return to the game, my save from mission 7 finally arrived back, but my Completion of Mission 8 and 9 was lost and did not register although I had gotten the achievements.
I am not a completionist so it didn’t bother me too much, but I am a small minority. 343i, PLEASE address this issue and the other ones soon!
One can argue all launches have issues, but this is Halo we are talking! The flagship game of Microsoft and you guys haven’t been doing so well… Don’t set the bar low for yourselves! You have a name to keep and reputation to keep on building. This is something to be expected of MMOs and seasonal games like Battlefield and CoD! You guys don’t release games often enough to NOT have these issues ironed out before release.
Still supporting you guys, but make sure it’s fixed and that Halo 5 is bug free =)
Wow, just tried campaign today solo and splitscreen on mission ‘halo’, crashed 4 times in a row as soon as you kill an ememy. this game… -Yoink- me its bad. Im only trying to get the first skull on that level and it cant even stay normal for like 3mins!!!

Its like we are all playing different versions of the game? 343 did say that different regions had different install sizes.
when u read the forums certain countries have country specific problems. For me all my campaign issues started on silent cartographer. Since then its extremely lucky to last 20mins without crashes. Although i am finding multiplayer matches quicker, The anniversary playlist is only one i cant find matches on. but every match is pointless tbh coz it crashes after the match stats are showed, and doesnt save any kills or ranks etc

I have also have had the same problem with the Delta Halo level. The game freezes and after awhile the Xbox one restarts.
The first time was shortly after getting in to the tank and driving over the bridge and in to the tunnel.
The second time is after the waterfall just before you come out to and walk down to the forerunner tempel (or what it is).
The third time was almost excantly at the same place as in the second (when you come out and see the tempel, at the area where one can pick up weapons).
Seemes one simply cannot finnish the delta halo mission at all.
I’ve had the same issue 3 times on Delta Halo. The game freezes for a minute then a black screen and my Xbox one restarts. The 3rd time really pissed me off because I was almost to the temple where regret is so I lost all the progress. Seems this lelevel is totally unplayable.
I just spent a few hours on truth and reconciliation (collectively) and after I updated my game all my mission progress was wiped.

I was on the level Regret on Legendary and got to the terminal and my achievement didn’t unlock so i save & quitted, then quit the game and when i hit resume it took me back to the beginning of the level yet my par time still said 40mins had passed so pissed
Assault on control room, solo legendary, last checkpoint of the level had to save/quit and come back a few hours later, started it up, and I’m at the very beginning of the level now. Pathetic. Should we just not play the campaign at all until there’s a green light or something?
