Ok, not only is the roster mechanic completely messed up, taking a good 20 minutes to connect with friends, but now whenever I try to do a campaign mission with someone online, it gets to the initial level loading screen, then cuts back to the main menu. Seriously??? Anyone else having this issue?

Yes. It worked before but I’ve been trying this week and it won’t work. Seriously annoying.
