One other thing I’d like to say about this is that it’s great you have a fix and all, but it’s been a week since this issue reared its ugly head. You made one comment about it, basically saying that you are aware of its existence. Then that was it. No progress updates, no continued acknowledgement, nothing.
We understand that a fix wasn’t going to be instantaneous and that it might take time, but some communication while waiting is all we’re asking for for crying out loud!!!
same issue here…
i even uninstalled it and resinstalled it. on Enemy Lines it wont go pass it.
I paid $250.00 and i cant pass that level and I didnt even get a Hard Copy Disc!!!
I am having the same problem, if I die during the campaign it crashes and sends me back to xbox home and then it will not load at all. The only way I can get it to work is if I restart the entire campaign and hopefully not die. Has there been any attempt from Microsoft to fix this glitch?

Ok, so much for that idea. You have to download the update. If you don’t, you go back to the dashboard. Good/lucky news is that it worked for me. So far anyway. I will say, the very short session that I played real quick I didn’t die, but only went to the next checkpoint and quit for the night. Hmm, I’ll have to test this and see if I get kicked out after dying like others are reporting…

Ok, died, it reloaded properly, progressing as it should. Hopefully all is well now!
Mine is digital, fully updated, and when I start mission 3 it glitches and cuts back to xbox menu, beating 2 again, or restarting mission yields same result
You guys, anytime a major update occurs with Halo 5, you need to restart the mission you were currently on. Data gets shifted and moved around, so what your game loads is ok, until you die and it tries to reload it, by then the data is invalid. Just simply restart the mission and you’ll be fine from there.

I just did. I tried it for myself. I’m also a Digital Copy, Fully Update, and I loaded a fresh “New Mission” from the Main Menu on Mission 3: Glassed. Loaded fine for me. Your game is crashing in-between cutscenes. You skip the first, and the 2nd doesn’t seem to load for you, which depending on how the game handles these second cutscenes, could be the scene itself, or the mission failing to load…
my only suggestion would be to try and Progress with a Co-Op partner on the missions after. Maybe doing that and playing solo on those missions will help with your Progress issue. You seem to have done everything needed besides deleting your saved data and starting the campaign from scratch.
