I just felt the need for folks to post whatever bugs they’ve been experiencing in the campaign. I can’t seem to find a decent enough list to satisfy my curiosity. All of my problems are with Halo 2, so my listing below is just for that campaign. Feel free to include the other games.
Here is what I have seen with Halo 2:
-Enemy AI unresponsive/frozen
-Allied AI not wanting to follow the player or just unresponsive in general (enemies shoot at them but they just stand there doing nothing)
-Some audio problems with the cinematics to gameplay
And that’s it. It may not be a long list, but it makes it really difficult to immerse yourself into the world of Halo when your allies and enemies are buggy (I’ve had a really frustrating problem with the AI).
LOL the list of bugs and glitches i have encountered in all 4 of the halo single player games is crazy!
First off some times the game wont allow me to pause the game, the only way i can do it is too go back to the x1 menu so the game auto pauses! its annoying as hell!
Halo 4 sometimes the hud just completely dissapears and thats without using any skulls lol! i had to turn the game off and relaunch it to get the hud to return!
Halo 4 has some serious stuttering and frame rate drops which is ludicrous! the x1 should easily pump this out at native 1080p 60fps without breaking a sweat!
all 4 halo games can have stuttering cut scenes sometimes.
Halo 1 and halo 2 ran near flawless with no tearing or frame rate drops and looked stunning!
Halo 3 had major stuttering in one level which was the beach level but other then that was fine, but halo 4 is the biggest offender with constant frame rate problems!
game sometimes randomly freezes with a large buzzing sound and then eventually closes itself booting back to xbox home screen
multi-player HAS NEVER WORKED FOR ME! not one single match have i been able to find a game all it does “searching for other players” and just sits looking for them but never finding them! to be honest i feel very disappointed i mean this is halo for gods sake if Microsoft couldn’t even be bothered to take the time needed to ensure the best franchise of xbox was working properly then is their any hope? i cant believe that i have been unable to play even one game/match of multi player since launch and no its not my internet this game is plain broken.
I love it, i am a big fan of the halo games for me this collection is heavenly! playing through all the halo single players at 1080p 60fps is god like! i just wish they ironed out the bugs and sorted all the problems.
My friends have been able to play 2 or 3 matches online but again for some reason these matches were not on the promised dedicated servers and were instead on P2P ala call of duty! and the lag was atrocious! sort this out for gods sake!
BUT THE WORST BUG OF ALL IS: when you just finish a level but after the next level loads and the cut scene plays all you get is a black screen with red writing in the top left corner saying some thing about data and you can hear the cut scene in the back ground but it just doesn’t move past that point! what’s worse is after you close the game and restart it all your save data is gone!!! and so you have re do the last level all over again! WTF 343??? this glitch has only happened to me on Halo 4 sort this rubbish out!
