Campaign Bugs

A lot of people complain about problems with the MCC’s multiplayer, but few talk about the campaigns. While they, for me anyway, work really well there are a few bugs I’ve encountered. Here they are, as well as a few playlist bugs:

Halo 1;
. When you play in classic mode, the original audio/music doesn’t play. This carries over to the multiplayer.
. Hit registration, particularly with the Pistol, is shaky.
. In the room where you fight the Flood JUST AFTER you view Jenkins’ helmet cam, all of the audio from your guns is gone until you leave it.

Halo 2;
. Hit registration at long ranges is shaky.
. During ‘The Heretic’, when the High Charity opening text appears in classic mode it spills over onto remastered mode, so we end up seeing both classic and remastered text at the exact same time.
. Enemies and allies, most notably the Heretic Leader, can’t/don’t dual wield.
. The Phantom that drops off the Hunters in ‘Regret’ sometimes just vanishes before reaching it’s drop off point.
. Not necessarily a bug but worth mentioning anyway; during one part of the remastered cutscene at the beginning of ‘Sacred Icon’, the Phantom transporting the Arbiter is flying backwards.
. If you use a shotgun while playing as the Arbiter and use your active camo in remastered mode, you can see the shells inside the shotgun.
. One or both of the final Wraiths you fight in ‘The Great Journey’ spawn in upside down.

Halo 3;
. Hit registration is frequently dodgy.
. On many occasions, Flood Combat Forms don’t die instantly from being hit with the Energy Sword.
. Several bits of scenery appear black and textureless.
. There are some ground texture issues during the Tank section in ‘The Ark’.
. The final Covenant Watchtower you face in ‘The Covenant’ is on the ground instead of floating above it’s ‘base’ like it should be.
. When you fight the Jump Pack Brutes near the end of ‘The Covenant’, two always get stuck where they spawn in above the following doorway.

Halo 4;
. The Elite with the Concussion Rifle that you fight just before you enter the ‘outside area’ in ‘Dawn’ gets stuck in the door where you find him.
. Whenever you quit and resume a playthrough of Halo 4’s campaign, you always get the longer animations the first time you pick up each Promethean weapon. In the original it just happened the first time you picked them up in a playthrough.
. Sometimes after sabotaging the Lich halfway through ‘Reclaimer’, it doesn’t explode. When this happens the rest of the level doesn’t load. At all.
. The final cutscene of ‘Reclaimer’ has no environmental lighting.
. The prompt to kill the Didact should read ‘Press LT to plant Grenade’, but it reads ‘Press RT to fire Machine Gun’.

ODST;
. Sometimes Audio Logs don’t register as ‘Collected’.
. After playing a Flashback level and returning to Mombasa Streets, you sometimes have the Silenced SMG and Silenced Magnum whereas in the 360 version you’d keep any weapons you had prior to starting the Flashback.

Playlist Issues;
. The Master Chief Saga reset bug, while can be avoided through VERY SPECIFIC METHODS, remains.
. Cross Game Playlists often reset progress and/or skip levels.
