Campaign assassinations

After watching most of the campaign footage released by all sorts of different YouTube channels I gotta ask.

Why aren’t there more assassinations, Specifically for the Grunts?
Chief: Spin em around by the face mask, stab and skewer the little guys brain.
Locke: Pick up, turn around, snap neck.

There might be more we just haven’t seen but I worry that there won’t be that much. Since Warzone is such a big thing with all the enemy AI there should be more assassinations for bots. I’m sure we’ll have enough for our fellow Spartans

What do you guys think, have you seen enough assassinations that you’re okay with.

Limited to few assassinations for Grunts isnt a let down. They aren’t the meat and potatoes in Halo. They aren’t the real targets. Just cannon fodder. Pulling a Jackals head back and stabbing them is satisfying, admittedly.
Now, Elites…theyre worth the assassination. Put more animations on them! Elites in Reach had great animations. Spartans too!

I agree, I’m not asking for a ton. Maybe just one more where you like drop kick them or something.

In my opinion AI should be able to assassinate The player. Imagine the twist.

I agree. I bet they programmed it so you get a different assassination for each kind of enemy. there will be a big variety in multiplayer though so I’m good with that. especially the back breaker req card they showed.

For multiplayer can we get
A backflip kick to the jaw.
Just a straight punch to the visor.
The Hitman lethal takedown.
Sweep them off their feet and just 360 throw them.

I’m a bit indifferent to AI assassinations. Typically, there’s a lot going on to even consider an assassination a valid technique to use, especially in a room full of enemies.
As for a stealthy approach, they’re not too exciting since they’re pretty much the same animations from Reach and 4, but it still gets the job done.

Reason why MP should have so many assassinations is because your victim is forced to watch their character die how you see fit, which amuses me more than any amount of teabagging ever will.

I never pass up the chance to assassinate.
Never.

Do you want chief to give a grunt a 1,2,3 combo to the dome and spartan kick its mask off? That sounds cool, I wanna see that now lol

Yeah. Stuff like that. Or like an elbow to the throat. Or you could scare him to death by tapping on his shoulder and letting him turn around. lol

I’d like things like that to put into the game, but the animation would probably take too long and then someone will cry about that too. I mean I personally don’t care how long an assassination takes place in the campaign, but in multiplayer it’s a different story.

i want really cool Elite assassinations… Stabbing a grunt through the head was good enough for me…
