For the first time ever Master chief will have variants of visual armor conditions (for example, newly created condition vs battle harden state) to choose from during campaign, and it will apply through out cutscenes…
I like the idea of this. Kind of like halo 2 where your guns you last had are shown in cutscenes, only with armor that gets more and more rugged and torn up as you progress and get shot , maybe even allowing it to be fixed up a little at UNSC camps or something.

Would look cool but I suspect this will happen throughout the story anyway.

Yes, I Like the sound of that. Also that was one of my favorite small attention to details in halo 2.
