One of the best Features in Infinite I like so far is the Aggressive but still fair AI, the Hunters are as good if not better than Boss Fights, Jackals fill their role well and even Grunts can be formidable in groups, but the Banshees…
Esp the Early Banshees feel hit or miss. They will oscillate from nearly oblivious flying in circles ( sometimes looks more like Squares or Janky Lines they follow ) to randomly super aggressive from far away when you think you’re not even visible to the Banshees and it seems a bit inconsistent.
Air to Air combat seems better than encountering the Banshees from the ground, so I just think their flight pathing could feel more smooth looking and consistent, something I also noticed with how the Phantoms move and fly sometimes.
The Bridge in Halo 2 had some Great examples of solid Banshee fights in ground v air so I’m hoping maybe the tuning could be more in line with how those sequences feel, where the Banshees come in and make passes and they seem consistent in their awareness of the player rather than not seeing you and then suddenly locking on our of nowhere.
Just my two cents.

what for difficulty you play more?
since when i play on legendary difficulty there are all good Aggressive and there are better then then the other enemy’s AI’s more.
Playing on Heroic and it’s pretty well balanced
then thats your problem more since if you play on heroic then you get it more.
then try to play on legendary difficulty then you see a big diffrend.
Uhhh… I have to disagree on this one my friend. I thought the AI in campaign was good but nothing special when comparing them to previous titles and other games. I was very disappointed with how bad the Elites are compared to the almighty Halo 1. Then of course the Brutes are kind of annoying, they either charge or just aim bot you with no real in between except certain moments. I didn’t find difficulty in the combat what so ever, and never found myself letting go of the BR and Rocket combo since this game gives you unlimited ammo like Doom. Meh… I could talk about the marines with a lot more as well, I expected way more with allies.
Edit: Idk about you but I also didn’t really utilize the grapple except on bosses… I just don’t see the hype, I guess the people didn’t play Titanfall, Doom, Etc… idk. I mean the combat is great, it’s the smoothest and agile it’s been but also feels like it’s missing something huge every step of the way.

so what the bandana skull give’s it who care’s its the same skull in halo 2 and its a good skull if you wane test some things on a new save file on legendary mode and not wane stay stuck on some missions and wane clear then fast since you wane test something on a boss or so and see if its working or not.
meet the brute bezerks class.
and not forget the elite’s are also not easy any more since if you kill a Jackal Sniper that has Stalker Rifle drop on the ground the elite’s are picking then also up to use against you.
same with the brute’s that are sometime’s in a funny mood and trow fusion or plasma coils to you.
or that are that funny mood there trow a grunt with 2 plasma grenate’s to you.
i have been killt in all the campaign file’s by the brute that was in a funny mood more that was 2 time’s trowing a fusion or plasma coil to me when i not have see it comming.
