cameras and remote turrets for forge?

I have been thinking about this since a few days ago when I was playing in sword base and saw the tv screens that showed the inside of the map

I think that we should be able to place cameras and tv screens in forge that will show what is happening in a certain area, they could be linked up like telepoter channels and I believe it could create some interesting game types that require more stealth.

I also think that we should be able to forge in special turrets that can be controlled remotely from a certain area by a player, the downside would be that the turrets have health, and the player could not see around them while at one of the turret stations. I think that this could be used in invasion in some way or form and could make it so that you can charge through and try to destroy the turrets or sneak past and kill the operator.

thoughts, ideas?

I actually think that would be pretty cool, being able to see whats going on in the room where your flag spawns from a different room, but the remote controlled turret sounds more like a campaign/firefight feature rather than Invasion, although I like Invasion

It’d be cool if the enemy could destroy the cameras or hack into them so they’d jusst play a loop or something.

maybe not hack, but definitely destroy them if they shoot them enough

IDK they could just press a button to play pre recorded footage or something. If not I’ll settle for destroying them.

Good ideas. Ive seen things like that in TS2 and they worked quite well adding an extra layer of gameplay.

Write in your original post that it would be similar to the Package in Reach’s campaign, so people don’t find a lame reason to bring COD into this.

the remote turret idea was planned on H3 on one of the maps, cant remember the name but its the one with that game and a beach and a silo. they had to scrap it because it was too dominating so they had a manned turret instead placed over the gate.

I like this idea. I’d also like the return of the Automated Turret equipment.
