So, I’ve come to the forums pretty regularly to keep up with the 343i updates and all I ever see is… Complaining. Therefore, I decided to drop by and talk about how much I’m enjoy Halo MCC.
So far I have only had little problems with the matchmaking. When I say little problems I mean like 3 minutes to find a match and unbalanced teams/not enough players to make a full match. I played multiplayer ON LAUNCH DAY as well and still have had a fairly pleasurable experience. To me, this is a clear indication that maybe the more severe problems are truly isolated issues and 343i have assured us that they are working on it. Coming to the forums and crying “I took my day off for this” or “I’m taking my game back this weekend if you guys don’t fix this” literally is going to do you absolutely no good. Cry all you want, but I’m sure 343i is doing the best they can.
Having game-breaking matchmaking issues? Play campaigns, earn achievements, co-op with a friend. I know the campaigns aren’t broken beyond playability as I’ve only had my game crash one time since I received it on launch night.
There are things to do in Halo MCC even if your multiplayer isn’t working. At least 343i didn’t pull a Bungie and release a $30 game for $60. At least 343i didn’t pull an Ubisoft and release a game with terrible optimization and microtransactions. There are things far worse than a somewhat broken matchmaking system in the gaming community right now. Enjoy what you’ve got and have faith that 343i are going to fix the issues.
