about 800 copies of halo 4 have been shipped out for reviews and obviously not all reviewers have submitted their reviews. on tuesday november 6 check metacritic and most of the reviews shall be in and the score of 89 will most likely improve to hopefully beat reach atleast

When did a game ever get a higher average after the initial wave of reviews? It can only go down from here. Also metacrtic only picks well known sites/magazines so 800 review copies means nothing.
Why are worrying about the review score anyway? H4 has been getting solid scores. We all know the game is great.
It’s a really pathetic world we live in where a score of 89 is not good.

its not living up to the old halo’s standard
Who cares if the score goes up it doesn’t change anything.

get off of here you -Yoink- troll Renovateddust 46 go back to your horrible cod and watch BO2 get a 70
I’m curious… which game has 90 or 95 above? Anyone list me the list?
I actually dont care about reviews.

Halo CE has over 95 and Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo reach have over 90
Some of the reviews that have contributed to the Metacritic composite are pretty questionable. The only complaint they make is that the game isn’t developed by Bungie so it lacks some Halo “feel,” which is an atrocious excuse for a review. Taking away points because it isn’t something is silly, especially if that something is just the developer who made the game.
Regardless, 89 is a good score. IGN gave it a 98, whereas Reach got a 95 from IGN.
the only opinion that matters, is your own.
I don’t care about reviews, I’ll judge the game myself, thank you very much.

The old Halo scores were from a time where Halo dominated the world in entertainment launches and sales. Halo is not on top anymore. The world belongs to Call of Duty now and that has skewed everyone’s opinion on what a shooter should be like.
At the end of the day, are you really going to let some review score or some rating number decide what is a good game for you?
It is a shame that its gone down to 89… but I will still buy it and I’m sure I will still enjoy it. The question is; does it hold its own against Bungies Halo or is it a letdown?
I don’t particularly care about the number, if I like the game I’ll play it. Simple as that. I’ve played, and enjoyed, many games that have received much lower scores than that and a number of them are doing just fine.
I’ll enjoy what I enjoy, I don’t need some other individual to tell me otherwise.
On the fact that other Halo games had higher scores it also depended on what games came out along side their release. The reviewers will compare it to their competitors. Also for the one guy that gave it a 70, that was on his own merit on what he likes in an FPS. He affirmed that the fans of Halo would love it.
This right hear is what’s wrong with this generation of video games…
I do think it’s funny how ALL of you would be like “LOL LOOK BLOPS 2 GOT A BAD SCORE ITS SO BAD” and contradict yourselves if that even happened.
It’s literally gone down ONE point since its early on score of 90. No game is perfect I’m sure everyone here is gonna have a problem with something they would of thought to have loved. Won’t stop me from loving the game though.

For what it’s worth, I think BLOPS 2 will be good, considering it takes place in the future… (Like HALO)

Right, but that guy has no place writing reviews if his personal preference influenced his review that heavily. He wasn’t objective in his review at all.
