Had the same happen to me today though a different achievement, two close calls in one game… no achievement…

I can’t be sure since I wasn’t in the game with you, but if your 3rd ordinance doesn’t get called down before the game ends, you don’t get the achievement. You still get a medal for getting the ordinance, so it’s possible you didn’t call in the third one. Buuuuuut since you’re making this topic, I’m assuming you did.

Personally, the first time I got my 3 ordinances in a game of team slayer on skyline, the ordinance shell didn’t open up before the game ended, and I didn’t get the achievement. It actually happened two times before I just went into FFA and got it very easily. FFA ordinances come in much more frequently than they do in the 4v4 game types. If you’re still having trouble, go into FFA with the perk that reduces the amount of points needed for an ordinance to drop. You’ll have it in no time.

I received both in my first 6 games.
I mean that it doesn’t seem to be a glitch.

Got it on first game on DlC, if you haven’t already, restart your xbox and attempt to earn the achievment again.

I ended up going in FFA and got the achievement easily, no perk required. BUT, I still believe this should not happen.

In the Skyline game, I got all 3 ordinances dropped and picked up well within the match limits (time/points). The only thing I suspect may have caused this is the host leaving mid-game and sending us to black screen (I had already picked up my 2nd ordinance at that point). Black screens typically reset certain vehicle/weapon spawns; what else could it reset?

While it’s not a serious issue, I don’t think it should be ignored (343).

My guess is that there was a black screen mid-game, in that case it usually resets you, so if you already had 2 ordances and it black screens, it thinks you’re back to zero.

This happened to me in Reach with the 1 Flag CTF achievement, twice.
