Wanna make a post about driving Warthogs.
My all time favorite halo machine.
I mean, come on? How much more badass can ya get?
What encounters have you had behind the wheel?
I have a few, due to being a piss poor gunner. I rather drive. It’s in my blood.
Triple kill all spatters off of a spawn in a WZA game. Hammer sent me flying into his team. I bounced around and smushed some melons. It was a proud moment. Only to be slain by atleast 200 rounds from enemy fire.
I had a match of Warzone on March on Stormbreak once. Got a Rally Warthog at level 2 and a gunner. We would drive back and forth between the Fortress and enemy Home Base, harassing the enemy team. Eventually, the Hog was destroyed, but then I got an ONI Hog.
I was playing BTB CTF on my brother’s account on Altar (aka Sandtrap), and I got the Rocket Hog right away. My gunner got in, and we managed to help him get 24 Rocket Hog kills before we got blown up. Blue Team didn’t stand a chance.
WZFF: A buch of grunts were lined up. There were about 20 of them. You can tell what happened next.
Ps: I was in a rally scout hog
That situation where you go head to head with another hog. One gunner kills the other, then the pure terror ensues. I’ve been on all sides of that. There’s nothing else like it.

I like the rally hog. Just wished it could take a bit more of a beating.

I love the cat and mouse chases. Even better when both gunners suck. It leads to a longer firefight.
And I love firefighters between vehicles.

If you’re on a highway to Hell and need a driver, I prefer reverse 180’s over braking 
I do not want the precision weapons changed, I want the 'Hog to offer newer, updated warfare protection, like a 2-3 shot popable extra shield or buffed shielding for the gunner(s).
Past that, sucks being alone
The AI fears me as a gunner.
Teammates should know better

That would be nice. But takes away the whole, “I could die at any moment” kinda vibe.

My best accomplishment: Well you remember the wild beast ‘The Warthog’ from Halo CE? The uncontrollable and impossible to tame beast? Well once upon a time there was a PC server where you spawned in with no weapons, but there were 60+ hogs on the map… The beautiful map Blood Gulch. You had to get to a warthog without being splattered by jumping over enemy hogs. Once in a hog your goal was simple. Run over the foot soldiers. But wait there are no foot soldiers! tough, flip them out of their warthog in warthog rumbles and splatter them. So I kind of got a triple running riot in one life (Running riot was the highest), and multiple killtaculars (yet again, the highest back then and it was 4 kills). It was legendary.
I think you mean calling all Puma drivers…
One time, I managed to flip my hog so that the right side was on the ground, and the top was sliding towards the enemy in WZFF. I ended up splattering 3 soldiers, and then I hit a knight. My hog started to do a barrel roll over the knights head, and land on it’s wheels behind him. Truly a fine moment.
I love driving, pulling off fast turns and jumps and never flipping. (lots of recovery practice)
But halo 5 doesn’t support gunners.
It’s too easy to die when literally everyone has a battle riffle.
Miss the good days when there were only 2 on a map.
I love the Warthog! Unfortunately just about every time I jump in one in BTB or Warzone I can’t get anyone else to jump in.
