I just read the most recent game informer and, 343 you have failed everyone. If I wanted to play CoD this holiday, I will buy Black Ops 2. From a Halo veteran, take out the -Yoink- and make it Halo again. It says you’re trying to make it more like the original Halo Universe, you are turning it into CoD. I would rather let it die. I see why Bungie gave it up. You don’t want to continue the Halo Universe, you want money like Microsoft, you greedy terrible game creators. Sincerely,
-1 Halo Veteran.
RIP Halo 4/14/12 We miss Bungie.
By Cthulhu I’m sick of these -Yoink!- threads! First of all using a variation of Call of Halo or Halo Duty 4 is not original nor funny. Second, this is the wrong place to post this hate thread, you should post it in the Halo 4 section with the trillions of other unoriginal hate threads. Third, you should wait until you actually see these new and updated things in actual gameplay before you hop onto the “I’m jumping to conclusions” bandwagon.
Idgaf for the name, and Game Informer told me everything that THEY SEEN, therefore, just from those small things, it IS DEAD
I understand your frustration but I think it’s missed placed and probably the most important thing we do know for sure is that we really don’t know all that much. 343 is mostly old bungie fellas so don’t get to upset about that. I do believe that added all this stuff is an attempt at having Halo 4 appeal to a general(more importantly bigger) CoD market. HOWEVER I do have faith that there will be several playlist and in typical Halo fashions multiplayer will vary greatly. I think 343s ultimate goal is a playlist for everyone. Don’t give up faith just yet…
Oh and one last thing, GameInformer is pretty much GameStops pet magazine so you can’t take anything on their to serious. It would be my opinion that they posted that article to build hype from the CoD crowd.
> Game Informer told me everything that THEY SEEN
They seen a WORK IN PROGRESS
All I am saying, people played it, said what they did/played and details of the game and it is disappointing. A playlist for everyone, wtf is Firefight?

“Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see.” - Benjamin Franklin
Perhaps you should actually play the game for yourself before you form a conclusion about it. Hating on it because of what you “heard” is just ignorant. The game in unfinished and still several months away from its release date so crying now is a wasted effort. You don’t sound like much of a true fan when you’re willing to abandon ship before she even sets sail.
Why is thread this in the Halo Universe?

Well here is my crazy theory.
-
The best selling franchise is CoD, MW3 grossed 1 billion in 16 days which is the highest grossing media venture to reach 1 billion of all time beating out Avatar (the movie of course) which accomplished it in 17 days.
-
Halo gamers and CoD gamers are different we can all agree on that and not to bash but CoD gamers prefer easy i guess you can say “Dumbed down action packed games” or I guess you could say “Explosions and pretty things every second”
-
Everyone wants to make more money.
-
Like I mentioned in 1 CoD is the top selling franchise bar none. But what effects games is the broad audience of the CoD gamer. Most are not gamers and only play CoD maybe once and awhile Madden or a sports game.
-
Being that CoD did so well publishers and unfortunately developers look to draw in the CoD gamer (aka that broader market that normally don’t game) So they make tweaks to their games to appeal to that audience.
-
I do believe 343 has had this CoD effect in Halo 4 but i think it’s rather minor and will only manifest itself in certain playlist. I think the Campain will be EPIC and as a whole I hope Halo4 will set a new standard on how NOT to sell out but at the sametime attract a broader audience.
Closing Remarks.
GameInformer wants to appeal to that mass market so ofcourse they will post an article that Highlight these changes in Halo to appeal to the mass market. But that doesn’t mean the games completely changed
I honestly hate that they are being effected by the CoD bug. BioWare fataly caught the virus and destroyed a great series. 343i I feel is more true to it’s core and will never abandon what Halo is at it’s core.
I would be ok with left trigger aim down sights ?
Take you hate thread, and put it where it belongs. In the Halo 4 forum, where all the other hate threads are. Leave this place be.
No one really cares about your complaints here.
