I got a killing spree, why wasn’t there an option for calling my titan down?
Because this is Halo, not Titanfall.
How dare 343 take elements of modern shooters and add them to Halo. Blasphemy! Please , let me relive my college days of Halo LAN parties from 10 years ago so that I don’t feel old and out of touch with the evolution of gaming. Because Halo is still the #1 shooter franchise, right? RIGHT?

I understand your sentiment but thinking that Halo’s only means to be successful is to mimic the mechanics of other more popular/modern shooters seems…well…silly imo.
Why try to fit a square peg in a round hole? Halo is what it is just as CoD is what it is. I guess I just don’t see the need to force mechanics in to a game where they don’t really belong.
I’m not saying the H5 beta is bad… but my issue with the direction is I don’t believe it is going to take players away from those other games (which seems to be the goal) and it is alienating a large group of players who have stuck with the franchise. I have no doubt it will sell well but I don’t think these additions will do anything for the longevity of the game and if anything are more than likely going to hurt it. If the past is any indication that is. I hope I’m wrong though.
