Call of Duty: Halo Edition

All the elements that raise my blood pressure and make me feel sick while playing COD, are now present in Halo 5. The radar with a range of two feet, the small, fast paced maps with complicated street textures and little else, down the barrel aiming. I loved Halo because you could see everyone on the radar up to halfway across a map, and all it really boiled down to was who had the best aim.

Yup game is bad wish I didn’t pay full price.

Doesn’t feel like CoD at all to me. Feels like classic Halo updated.
Too bad you can’t have the fun I’m having.

While I do not like the short radar in this game, the overall mechanics are very good. The “aim down sights” is not really aim down sights. When you get hit, you un zoom, like you have in all halo games besides 4. I like how the game is faster now, and it has not taken away the hall feel. Everyone spawns with the same stuff, and the thrusters feel natural.

Doesn’t even remotely feel like COD to me. I’d honestly rather have no radar at all so I’m fine with the short range on it. Haven’t bought a COD in years (because it sucks) and I’m enjoying the hell out of this.

It’s Aim down sights that has an un-zoom mechanic. It doesn’t mean it’s not ADS. Lol.

In a way I do agree that Halo 5 has a similar feel to CoD these days. Being able to ADS on every weapon certainly gives that feel, and now that people are camping/crouching more than ever before (Than I have ever seen on Halo) you could say it it resembles CoD.

But personally I feel, the way that CoD is going into the future with their timeline, that CoD will simply catch up to Halo (year wise). Soon enough CoD will be cloning Halo! But hey that’s just my view on it.

nope. Feels more like Battlefield. Particularly Warzone. Except BF’s radar has longer range.but they work almost the same way. In BF if you don’t run and don’t shoot you generally don’t show up on radar (unless you are near a sensor that can be deployed). H5 is now the same way.

The game is nothing like CoD… you’re limited, OP.

There are some similarities sure, but I personally feel that most of the additions like the jet pack and sprinting, are pretty well balanced. The aiming system has and still does give me fits, but it’s been a bit of a learning experience, and helped me to improve my judgement on just going in guns blazing.

Definitely feels like a faster Halo with a bit of CoD mixed into it, but then again Halo 4 felt the same way to me with the ordinance system.

This. Not getting the COD feeling at all, disputed the thrusting and aiming down your sights.

agreed.

I dont why people get so upset about ads its always been in halo if you think about how Spartan helmets work that’s always been in the game. Its just more heavily used it feels different but its still halo but I like the faster pace.

The aim down the sights is just a graphic unlike COD or Destiny where it makes you stand still and not zooming is extremely inaccurate and random. Halo 5 still has that classic run and gun feeling that you don’t get in those other shooters.

Halo 5 is also more entertaining to watch; I’d suggest checking out the Halo 5 channel at twitch.tv… it’s better than watching COD where they just run around and whoever shoots first wins; the wall running is cool though. Destiny is ok too, but the PvP just doesn’t flow as good as Halo in general and Halo 5.

feels nothing like COD at all. I dont know what game you’re playing

I’ve played both CoD and Halo for years and there are similarities in as much as you pull the trigger and the gun goes bang
