The contrast of the sword with the background looks really good but the Spartan just likes a bit plain at the stance and where abouts he is standing.
I agree with Banana. The sword looks cool, but the Spartan is boring… 
try a darker shade with the energy sword and really bright helmet. Gold or silver. sometime the light can reflect and get you better colors…
