I’m sorry but I’m going to say it and I only wish that my point gets across.
As a very dedicated halo player, halo was my childhood after I got out of the Nintendo phase. I loved everything about all of the universe the story the detail and subtleties.
Im sorry but I am not here on good news or anything of the sort. I am here to rant about how halo 5 is the absolute worst game in the series. I used to think reach or halo wars was as bad as it was going to get, but no 343 had to take a perfectly solid story and ruin it. The vid docs they display are just so proud of themselves for their accomplishments and that they know what the fans want. The fact of the matter is the game is broken you don’t know what we want and you’re ruining one of the best things in gaming history. Sorry not sorry.

There always has been, and always will be players such as yourself who claim that a new title is the worst one yet. I heard it in Halo 2, 3, odst, reach, halo wars, and 4. Every time.

I’ve enjoyed the hell out of this game and I even like the story.

Halo 5 is a huge step backwards and to the left it missed its happy middle. It’s story was bland. I never posted on these forums before because I was genuinely happy with all other halos. Halo reach wasn’t the best but I still liked it never complained until I played halo 5. Sorry but you can suck 343i’s balls over this game all you want but I’m greatly disappointed.
Yeah OP, sorry, this game is great. Sorry you’re left out in the cold.
Yeah, the game is so broken, like the way that matchmaking can take up to almost a minute to find a match sometimes.

yes every game starts a group of haters because of changes that were made. I’ll say that Halo 5 has the best weapons sandbox in any halo game. No gun is useless. Except in warzone where you can spawn with more powerful versions of guns than other people. Back to the point though. Hating the current halo game is nothing new or revolutionary everyone has done it for every halo game. What people don’t like is change. They get used to halo being a certain way, and even improvements are seen as bad.
Personally I liked halo 3 the least. You moved slow, they kept the dual wielding thing which messed with gun balance (although they did fix it somewhat), they added equipment which was cool but limited, the campaign felt short, all weapons were projectile weapons making shots less reliable, they took away elites and used brutes whose shields wouldn’t recharge after being taken down, the flood was suddenly weak to punching attacks. Again I liked it the least, but I still liked it.

i agree, 3 was the worst for me too
