Pfff, what fix intelligent tactics? It’s 140 points, same price as a mac blast and much harder to use, if abit more damaging.

The thing is, that’s not how those cards are designed to be used. Player creativity aside, CA didn’t intend this to be possible. By no means should a single suicide grunt be able to wreak such destruction.

A single suicide grunt didn’t do that. A clever player with a suicide grunt and teleport did. This is exactly the stuff one wants to see from games like this. I doubt you are going to find many here who will agree with you. This seems to work as intended. Teleport can teleport both friend and foe and you can use it aggressively for yourself or employ it to CC the enemy.

Terrific! No fix needed. Same with Vortex.

Are you kidding me? Every Blast unit does this. They’re suppose to be powerful

Teleport is one of the most strategic ability’s in the game rn I use it all the time.
It does need to be better in standard but for blitz it’s current distance is perfect.

You can use it to split up a army to have the advantage.

You can use it to teleport there artillery so you have the upper hand.

You can teleport people away from energy or you closer to it.

I was not aware teleport could be used for enemy units as well.

Creative, yes, but what makes this combo potentially overpowered is how relatively easy it is to execute. It’s not hard to cycle your cards to have the two required cards ready to use in frequent succession.

The real problem in my eyes is how unable the victim is to avoid this. The bad path finding in HW will lead your units to clump together. It’s a challenge to keep them properly spaced at all times. The aggressor simply drops a suicide grunt and then instantly stands ready with the teleport ability to spring it on the victim’s troops. The victim is already up -Yoink-'s creek before they’ve killed the grunts.

There is no chance to escape the blast as they are instantly scooped up - even as they attempt to flee - and thrown back into the blast radius.

So its creative and a clever use of the two cards, but looks to be somewhat too powerful, IMO. What balances it out?

By the time they notice there artillery is gone you should have already taken B and captured the Hill I have done this several times. It teleports them still locked down so they have to manually unlock them giving up there ability to micro at B if they were even worried about the artillery that quickly anyway. It’s such a cheap card you can teleport them back off the hill almost Everytime they get back up there.

Also if your holding C you can teleport them all into C so your units can take them out in close range your just using it wrong.

After opening the free 20 packs we got for the final weekend of the Beta, My teleport ability card got to about rank 3. At that rank its a pretty good distance for the map size, I take back what I said. You were right :slight_smile:
