I believe 343 hadn’t finished MM when halo 4 shipped they just ran out of time. And Microsoft isn’t going to move such a highley anticipated games release date back especially when blops 2 was releasing around the same time. I think certain things are coming by the end of January

1.Ranks in game not waypoint. 343 has seen what the competitive players who care about ranks want. They are listening to you competitive players.

2.The return of favorite playlist. Team dubs. Swat. Team snipers etc will become permanent playlist. The whole rotating playlist right now is just to test what playlist should become permanent. But smaller population playlist will still rotate.

3.I can see clan matches coming back. The whole “your on red team” with all the same emblems on your team is a straight set up for clans. Other wise putting that at the start of a match was just pointless.

4.The BR,carbine,and light rifel will be balanced to match the DMR. The return of the 4 shot BR is coming.

5.There will be more specializations. This game isn’t going to stop at SR130. It has taken some only a month to become max rank. And many others will be max rank in the next month. They will add more length to the system.

Just have patience and believe 343 and Microsoft will not let their biggest title fail. And Merry Christmas to you all. God bless

Hmm, the weapons thing could of been fixed with a simple beta. Anyway, I hope so and they need to fix kill cams they are so broken I watch’em for laughs.

I don’t think we’ve seen all the specializations either. Why would you call it Priority Alpha if there is going to be a Beta or Charlie.

there was an update this morning a out the kill cams and so far mine has actually been working I even have seen the final kill cam back

If they brought clans back I’d be the happiest man alive, a whole other list of 100 clan members to play customs/matchmaking with like the Halo 2 days, I doubt it will happen though. They haven’t had a clan list in an online console game since the original Xbox.

Meh, as soon as get to the highest rank in Halo 4 i’ll go back to Reach to work on getting Inheritor.

Because so many people were pissed they didn’t get a code so they wante it to sound like it was first priority lol

game leaked a month before release that means it was finished up to 2 months before release they have had loads of time to do this but they are selling map packs instead

although making your rank visible via waypoint is a little bit unnecessary to me, I can`t really says its unbearable.

  1. makes sense…theyll probably finalize the playlists within the first 3 months, or whenever theyve finished testing the popularity of such playlists.

  3. its safe to assume some balancing will happen sooner or later, I mean do you really think a weapon as OP as the boltshot wouldnt be nerfed? or that the pulse nades wouldnt be buffed? I know some of the complaints are just silly but some are obvious.

  4. NEVER have I seen such a short progression system, the fact that they made it this short to begin with is mind-blowing.

if they do decide to add more specializations into the mix then they had better make it so that EVERYONE will have access to them, do I really have to say why?

Very good thread. I’m starting to see hope again. This does sound a little too good to be true but then again anything can happen and I keep telling myself that 343 can’t possibly NOT CARE about their game. They WILL listen to the community. Of course we can’t get everything we wan’t but your list sounds like reasonable changes. I could care less about the balancing weapons so early i’m more concerned about MATCHMAKING.

this is one of the things im hoping for the most clans could potentially bring halo back to the top
