By the end of the month we will know

if this game has any future. With Spartan Ops wrapping up and the TU coming it is make or break time. Those are the only 2 reasons I still have this game and I bet that is the same for a lot of people.

Last chance to save Halo 343.

I call this game Exile & Valhalla - thats all I get to do in it.

I’ll be intrested when Microsoft finally release Halo 4.

The TU and ranked playlists were supposed to come out last month now they’re pushed all the way til April. Honestly 343 is extremely unprofessional. The released the game far from it being complete and they’re putting of an update that it desperately needs by 3 months. They -Yoink!- suck lol.

But I agree, the update is the only chance this game has for being any good. The last couple months I’ve only been playing Spartan ops to rank up, but since I hit 130 I haven’t played that either. Im behind 2 chapters and have no interstate in playing them.

For god sakes fix your multiplayer. Fix the playlists, and add ranks.

Sorry, but I haven’t been very up to date with Halo 4’s updates, what is the TU supposed to include?

Acey The Legend this is the first that i heard it was pushed out that far, can you post where you got the information incased i missed something.

Campaign: it’s dead (in developer support and as the main feature of the game). No theater, no announcement for scoring, no massive topics about easter eggs.

War Games: N/A

Spartan Ops: Honestly, the missions should be released one at a time. There’s a pattern I see on here.

Massive enthusiasm on day of release. The next few days some excitement. By the end of the week, it’s waning, except more people have time to play it. This is reflected in the populations.

Games good just not Halo 3 good

If the TU does have a good effect like balancing dmr and buffing carbine etc i will love 343 if it don’t then the population will continue to fall

I’m not going to look for a link but when the game came out they swore up and down that the csr would be ready by the first month of 2013.

False. All that was ever said was it will be implemented in the beginning of the year, people took that info and said “okay so the tu is coming in January omg!!!” And when it didn’t come out around New Year’s Day everyone acts like they’ve been betrayed but they never said that, no sort of date was given until they said feb and there hasn’t been any further talk about it.

The TU won’t fix Halo 4’s bland sandbox and its complete lack of decent maps. It wont change the fact that the game is fundamentally boring now. Therefore, it’s destined to fail to make Halo 4 an attractive game overall.

And that’s like your opinion. I for one enjoy halo 4.

I’m looking forward more to the Majestic Map pack as I feel smaller maps may change many players opinions on things that they dislike such as the DMR.

More playlists are coming out which is always nice, but ultimately I think it won’t be the TU, but the competitive classic playlist that really helps with the naysayers.

Edit:

Ultimately the fate of Halo 4 rests in the hands of it’s fans. The best we can do is accept many of the changes that the game has brought, look at them with a positive attitude, point out the things we don’t like, play customs or game modes that don’t include those elements and keep on playing, and stop acting like the game has SARS.

The next TU should balance weapons, add customs options and make the Warthog worth using. But even with that stuff, I think the game is just too horribly designed to save it with a simple TU. We need radical changes, such as removing plasma grenades from loadouts and having traditional playlists (BTB objetive, Multiteam…)

I agree with the addition of more playlists and balancing of weapons, but the removal of the new aspects of Halo 4 will disagree with. If you do not like people spawning with Plasma grenades, then I would highly suggest you stick to the competitive classic playlist that hits mid February.

Ragnarok popped up way too much when the game first came out and, despite my love for it, I felt like I was playing it way too often. But now I feel like they went overboard when they made it harder to get in matchmaking. I can go whole days in big team without ever seeing it. I can’t even remember the last game I played on it. Now it’s just Exile over and over.

Halo 4 to be perfect only needs non-kd playlists.
Action Sack playlist.

Custom Games available as playlist. ( example, the playlist would be in matchmaking, you enter, alot of funny maps, funny gametypes to be played and it would be non-kd etc…)

If this happened, i will be in gaming heaven.

I think the OP has it marked on his personal calendar that everyday he has to come here and create at least one a day to bash Halo 4.

We get it OP, you don’t like Halo 4. Just simply go play something else. I’m sure there is a single game among the millions of video games on the current market that fits your liking.

IT’S A SUPER FUN MYSTERY, WOoooOOOoooOOOooo
They haven’t told us anything.

Agreed on Action Sack. But Action Sack hasn’t been getting any love lately. It was pretty awful in Halo Reach. In 2 and 3 it was great.

I think Team Throwdown is a step in the right direction, but since I’m not a competitive player (not a casual one either), it means nothing for me.
I just want to use the Warthog as I’ve always done, but it’s impossible to do it in Infinity playlists. In other posts I’ve said that the best solution is having classic playlists and Infinity ones. Infinity shouldn’t be the default slayer version.
