Nobody has anything to say about the Halo 5 pistol?
Is it supposed to be end all be all mid ranged weapon?
Excuse me but it feels like i havnt lost yet. Im dominating kids
I for one can’t hit the back side of a barn with it unless I’m right next to someone. I haven’t noticed the decrease in aim assist with any other weapon but the pistol.
The pistol is number 1 sorry. It is my only tool of destruction now.
The trick is to not strafe/move around in your gun battles.

The Pistol seems to kill faster but be harder to use. I haven’t used it much except in CQC, as the BR seems like the more effective choice for extended range, but in CQC I have received plenty of bulltrues with it.
Currently waiting for the guys at beyond to come up with a killtime chart.

That’s something I immediately noticed about this game and dislike.
I find myself strafing very little and not jumping at all, where in the past those were viable strategies.
The pistol should be beastly. Its downfalls are its range, low aim assist and bullet magnetism (should be lowest)
It not being the go to weapon by the general public and being super useful to a select few tells me its were it needs to be.

We are evolving dude, dont worry about it!
For some reason I stink with the pistol. Fun to use though and I definitely get a level of satisfaction from getting a kill with it.

I find myself doing those things all the time in conjunction with thruster, the movement speed and acceleration seems decent enough to allow god strafing.

I’ve had times where I got killed by a pistol, and I’ve killed players using pistols. If the enemy cannot learn to back up, then it’s their problem, not 343’s.
Somebody join me , and witness this frustration. LOL they mad they cant pistol like me

Im talking any distance that does not require zoom. If you think you can back up from this. You might just be mistaken. It actually works better if my opponent does not strafe

No its most certainly the go to… As i can see from my last few games i won straight. Everybody who is half-fast decent is using it.
If you dont believe it , you probably have yet to exploit it(spam it)
