This dudes selling a used halo 4 for $45. Are there any advantages to buying a new one as in does it come with a code or anything that you need to separately buy if u purchased a used one?
Nope. There is no advantage in buying a new copy of Halo 4 over a used one. Just make sure it contains both discs, and you’ll be fine.

I’d go with buying a new one because of that new feel thing and less concern for scratches and what not.

Don’t you need to download the second cd? After you download the second cd can you still Download it again?
Should be able to. It was really just for Spartan Ops, it wasn’t like DLC or anything. It was just because there was too much data on one disk, and it was a helpful method of doing it where the player wouldn’t have to constantly swap disks.
I cannot confirm it, but I would honestly be surprised if the 2nd disk didn’t work for you.
Go ahead and buy it, as mentioned all you’ll be missing is the 14-day gold trial. I see no reason what so ever why the seller wouldn’t provide you with Disk 2, but even if they didn’t you can download Disc 2’s content from Xbox Live, making it pretty useless.

Oh I was asking because cant people just share the second cd wih their friends and Download it over and over again?
You can share the 2nd CD but without the first you cannot play it anyways. Second CD is garbage after you have installed.
Second disc is an install disc. I used my disc to install halo on three different xbox’s. You’ll be fine.
If there is no DLC that you have to download from the net but off a disc, you’ll download it again and again with no problems.
