Yes I am THAT guy. I never was THAT guy but I am THAT guy now. I just love the req packs and wanna unlock the best falafel but now that I have some spare moolah, I want to buy pay my way to unlock the good stuff. I’m not fussed if its cosmetic stuff or weapons, I just want dat rare stuff that makes people goo “aaah wow” or “sukkaay!” in Japanese before they actually check out my service record and realise just how crap I am at the game.
So I want to buy req packs in bulk and its just painfully slow buying one req pack at a time, with the console going into the payment screen and paying for each pack individually. Any tips ladies and gentleman?
Or should I sit in a corner in shame for even asking such a question?

It’s random. So no one is going to go “aaah wow” at anything. It doesn’t matter how good or bad you are. You could open a REQ and get a plasma pistol or one of Sgt. Johnson’s Sweet William cigars to have sticking out of your visor, trailing smoke as you run around the map (they should totally have this as a thing) and it doesn’t matter how hard you play or how much you pay.
They’re going to see your fancy gear and think “he got lucky”. That’s it.

It’s random but the more packs you unlock then the more stuff you will have. Just saw that a chunk of the money raised for the pot in the Halo tournament came from people paying for req packs.

Hey, I didn’t design this REQ system. I’m just being honest. Used to be you earned the coolest armors the hard way and people knew you were boss for doing so.

Yeah shame about that. Might have given me an incentive to get better! Although in Reach it just demanded that you play for a gajillion hours

You could buy them here on Waypoint and then open them in-game.
Difference is that in-game purchase opens a pack directly, purchase on Waypoint gives you the option to open them here or wait until you’re in-game.

But even buying em on here I have to buy one at a time. Kinda sucks
