Hi, no idea if this is the right section for this question but I’m looking to repay a kindness. A member of my Spartan Company received a copy of Dark Souls on backwards compatibility, but decided to gift it away due to already owning it. I accepted the offer and want to pay him back by buying him a Gold pack bundle and sending him the 25-digit code. Problem is, I have no idea where to go to buy the bundle and not have it automatically attach to my account. Can anyone point me in the right direction for buying a 25-digit code? This is the first time I’ve ever bought a digital Xbox product for someone else and I’d rather not get it wrong.
Hey OP, at the moment I don’t believe there is a way to give someone else the code via Xbox Live. Users in the preview program for the Xbox 360 were given the option to send digital gift cards back in January (See Major Nelson’s Blog). If you have a 360, you could use that to send the currency value of the bundle over? Or just buy a gift card fom the store and send the code. Hopefully the ability to send digital giftfs comes to the X1 as well
