Buying Halo 4 at Midnight launch- question

Will I have to wait in line? It’s a Gamestop in Metro Détroit, so I doubt I’d have to wait for long. Any tips? This is my first Midnight release, so I’m not sure what to do or expect.

You will need a baton, a tazer and a Riot Gear when the doors opens… expect pure madness and chaos lol

Here’s you list of things you need

  1. tent

  2. sleeping bag/chair

  3. a light source

  4. something to protect yourself with

  5. Coffee/monsters

  6. something to go in. If you get up and leave to go somewhere you forfeit your spot in line

  7. Bacon

  8. snacks

Lines usually go pretty quick. Might want to see if any special events are going on like contest or free food. I would also bring a friend or a phone with internet access if the lines are slow.

Eh, I’ll just wait until morning. I live in an area where I’d likely be mugged.

umm, yes because when i go to gamestop the next day it looks like the occupy wallstreet people have been there (no lie).

your laser tag rifle? what’s that gonna do besides annoyingly blind people with a red light?

I usually arrive 2 hours before release with a chair and some food. The Chair is nice because I can save my spot and sit down comfortably. About 5 minutes to midnight, pack up your chair and anything else, and wait for the goodness.

Well since people primarily worried about spending time in line get free shipping around noon, I’d say at least two hours in line because sir… you should expect a masterpiece.
two hours is based on experience.
