I read the Nightfall Support thread and I think it’s telling me to report my issue here. If not, I’m extremely sorry.

My dad redeemed a digital code for the MCC, and it came with Halo: Nightfall. He redeemed it on his account. We both have the same Xbox One S set as our home Xbox. I just recently found out that Halo: Nightfall gives you really cool ODST armor in Halo 5 if you watch it. When I try to watch it on my account, it says that I need to buy it, but it works just fine on my dad’s account. Is there a fix for this, or will I have to purchase Halo: Nightfall on my account, too?

I’m afraid you would need to purchase it on your own account if you wanted to do that, as licenses are tied to each gamertag. The Nightfall armour is in the general REQ pool now though, so there’s always a chance you can get it from opening a REQ pack
