I bought the game when it first came out, and these issues have been happening since, and it’s been with different controllers, so I know it’s not the controllers:
It’ll melee instead of shoot or throw a grenade, or just melee for no reason
When using a shotgun or scattershot, it’ll automatically shoot an extra shot when trying to reload, or just shoot a random shot (which is very wasteful, we all know their ammo is very limited)
And yesterday, it went to a whole new level. My button layout shouldn’t matter, but I use Fishstick. I was trying to throw a grenade, and it melee’d. Not once, not twice, but it just kept meleeing. I tried to melee with the right stick, and it would aim down the sight! I tried to aim down the sight with LT, and it threw a grenade! Most of the button config changed, but to shoot it was still RT. This was continuous, until I changed the layout. I had to go to the settings, change the button layout, and switch it back to fishstick, then it worked fine again. So I know for sure it could not have been the controller, but definitely something with the game. I even recorded the video, but I mean I don’t see how it’d be helpful, since you can’t tell what buttons I’m pressing.
I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game a few weeks ago, but it didn’t help. Yesterday was the only time all this random -Yoink- happened continuously, every other time it just has been sporadic. So anyway, I’m looking for a fix, possibly a future update. I can’t be the only one this has happened to.
