With the introduction of AA’s Along with sprint, one of our buttons is going to have to be replaced. There are now 11 commands and only 10 buttons to choose from (Not including DPAD) i’ll give a quick rundown of halo 4 using classic halo 3/ reach controls
Halo 4
LT- GRENADE
RT- SHOOT
RB- ARMOUR ABILITY
LB- SPRINT
LS- CROUCH
RS- AIM
A- JUMP
B- PUNCH
X- RELOAD-VEHICLE
Y- WEAPON SWAP
Whats the problem you ask? Where is the grenade swap? how is that action going to be implemented without the use of the DPAD?
I just want some confirmation on this, using the DPAD would be more than fine, we will be able to actually choose which grenade we want using right and left, rather than just scrolling through randomly, i just need inmation on this though as at least one of our commands is missing from the button layout be it grenade swap reload or any alternate action.
They might do one of those tap/hold schemes, where tap Y switches weapons, but holding down Y will switch grenades. But I would assume the D-pad will get some use.
> I had some trouble getting used to finding Sprint on my left analog stick. (There are a million button layouts now, so you can pretty much set things up any way you want; I went with my normal (for me) Southpaw/Southpaw/Inverted setup, and that’s where Sprint is. Crouch is on the B button, which is bizarre.) Because of this, I felt really slow sometimes.

I’d like essentially that scheme, except with A and LB swapped around, and then I’d like to have RB for melee and the grenade switch moved back to A in gametypes that don’t involve Armor abilities.
