Hey fellow halo enthusiasts,
I was wondering if you guys could help me out. I’m still a new player to halo, but I think I’ve definitely improved since I got the Mcc 2 months ago. Halo is almost the only game I play, but Destiny looks really intriguing to me (I pre-ordered the taken king legendary edition.) I was wondering what button layout I should play on to have the easiest transition between the two games. As well as the transition to halo 5 since both games use the left trigger to Zoom/ADS (Zoom&Shoot?) Anyways, I use the Universal Default (Recon) as my current button layout. If you can help me out, big thanks to you :).
You can still use Recon in halo 5. If you want to change your controls to be more like halo 5 use Fish Stick.
Halo 5’s Default Scheme and Destiny’s Puppeteer are identical (and are what I plan to use - aiming, sprint, melee and crouch are all usable without taking thumbs off sticks).
I wish the Guardian scheme would be put into the MCC. It just works so much better than Zoom&Shoot.
I still cannot fathom why the control scheme was not ported to the MCC yet…

What do you mean? Halo 5’s default? It’s “Universal Zoom & Shoot” in the MCC.

Abort now. Don’t get sucked into the black hole that is destiny. You are signing up to get -Yoinked!- over by activison. Also, I won’t say anything about someone pre ordering a game, but preordering dlc is a joke. Its also worth mentioning that Saturn was mentioned in e3 before the game was out. It has now reappeared in dlc. More cut content lol. Just trying to warn you

Cancel it and save your wallet. Destiny charges absurd prices for recycled vanilla content. This new DLC pack will be more of the same crap.

No, look at the layout. Zoom and Shoot has several buttons inverted compared to halo 5
