Lots of people are complaining that the Castle map pack will be all BTB maps. Can I just say that regardless of the maps size, just at the first glance, this maps look like so much fun? We haven’t gotten to play in a foggy mountain environment since Halo CE PC (the environment just wasn’t the same in Anniversary.) Everything about this maps looks awesome -dare I say original?- and I for one can’t wait to play them!
Also, hopefully they’ll put them into the BTB playlist, and well get to play something other than Exile every once and a while 
The layout and aesthetics look very good.
It’s just too bad they will still suck because vehicles are so weak and the game gives you a sniper on spawn.
It really is depressing to see such potentially good maps ruined by the game mechanics themselves.
Supposedly this pack will be accompanied by a 6v6 playlist and a CTF Obj Playlist so I guess that is a positive.
Idk I mean they look good, but all of Halo 4 “looks” good. Just frustrating that 6/9 DLC maps are for BTB

The Castle Map Pack brings a new playlist to the War Games experience called “Castle DLC,” a six-versus-six playlist that focuses on both team play and coordinated objective gameplay.
The new maps will also be integrated into existing Infinity Slayer, Big Team Objective, and Dominion playlists. DLC maps will appear in a playlist if all members of the match have the content purchased or the War Games Map Pass."
I kind of feel like Castle and Majestic are kind of joint packs for both the BTB and 4v4 crowds an as such would appreciate one more map pack
I couldn’t help feel like in Crimson, Harvest was a different part of Complex, and Shatter and Wreckage were just Vortex with different colors. Majestic had some good stuff, particularly Skyline, but Castle is set up to be the most variety packed of them all.
People will complain about so many opposed things. From maps too small to maps too big.

What the heck are you talking about? I haven’t played a game of 8v8 CTF in over a year and now they are going to charge people to play it on the new DLC maps. BTB is just Infinity Slayer on Dominion maps, our Warthog was neutered, and moving across the map is no longer recommended.

We have more than enough small maps now, especially with forge maps being brought into MM, and the Majestic map pack.
The big maps we’ve had can barely support flying vehicles, and aren’t focused on objective. These look like great, big maps, and can be potentially good for forge as well.

I build my own Forge maps. Why should I have to rely on Forge in order to have maps? It’s not like BTB maps can’t be built in Forge.

You’re getting your Objective playlist. And there are enough maps that support flying vehicles.

Cool. At least you get maps. According to Waypoint, I need to make my own or quit complaining.
I guess I’m just ungrateful that 2v2 is unplayable without Forge.
