hey i just found out that the upcoming championship bundle wont be covered by the season pass
why? to me that completely defeats the purpose of me buying it in the first place
and if it only covers a “season” then how ****ing long is this imaginary season?
whats the point of this if it dosent do everything its supposed to and why should i ever buy this again?

now if you’ve stated somewhere the limit to the pass then please leave a link and im sorry for the rant and if this information is wrong and the dlc is covered by the season pass then im sorry again but until then may i please have a direct answer.

It’s not a season pass. It’s a war games pass.

And it says on the item description that it is a discount purchase on the first three map packs. No more, no less. Next time read the description before you purchase something.

Yes you bought the season pass, and if you READ the description it clearly stated that you would get 3 map packs (Crimson, Castle and Majestic all named and with the months they would be launched in) an emblem and 2 armors.

That is exactly what you got.

I still don’t know why people are surprised the new DLC is not part of the War Games Pass (It has never been called a season pass)

Content includes “Crimson, Majestic & Castle Map Packs” plus 2 in-game helmets and an emblem at a special value. If you own this Map Pass, access map packs thru the Halo 4 in-game store. Do not download from Xbox LIVE Marketplace or you will be charged twice. Halo 4 game, 4GB storage, & Xbox LIVE Gold membership (each sold separately) required to use this content. (Map Pass included with Halo 4 Limited Edition.)

Odd for me it is shown as war games pass.

There is no way your map pass says season pass and not war games map pass.

That’s one of the reasons why “Passes” are bad, they’re misinterperated by the players and are limited by the publishers.

Another reason is that you’re essentially paying someone to maybe give you content that you may or may not like. The content might not be enjoyable to you, or they can easily just not release anything and keep your money.

If you used elementary reading skills, you will find out that it covers the first 3 map packs.

Nope.

The PASSES allways state the ammount of content you will recieve, after that it is a decision of the developer if anything extra will or not be included as part of the pass or as a separate purchase.

They can’t keep your money and not release anything because that woudl be fraud and you could actually sue them.

The pass is a contract, you get the content mentioned in it and you pay an ammount for it, its pretty simple.

Now that you may or may not like the content is a completely different matter, and happens also with regular DLC.

The war games pass was only for the 3 map packs.

Also another theory why I believe its not a part of it is due to it not being purely based on war games. All the skins and armours you get can be used in SpartanOps as well while the Maps you got from the war games can only be… well, used in war games.

But that’s my thought.

Also why are people complaining?

Why on earth would a bundle be a part of a bundle. DO people not actually realize the champions bundle is the 3 DLC together plus extra if you buy it like that.

While the war games consists of getting Map packs not bundles. (War games pass is a bundle just like the champions)

Accept when you buy a season pass or in this case the war games pass it tells you in DETAIL what you are getting access to. The only people that get confused are the people who choose not to read what they buy. That’s no ones fault but their own.

I think one is to open/play the game, and have the LE DLCs. The second copy is to have it as a collection… I guess.

Because I paid for my copy and my teenaged son’s. He quit playing Halo 4 a long time ago, and I’m spending my time trying to find a game where half the other players don’t quit/AFK.

I got the War Games Map Pass, I was disapointed when it was annouched that you have to pay for it, But then i saw what it included and I would happily spend 800MSP on the bundle, Lot more Content in it then the last 3 Map Packs anyway.
