The Swat gametype community is a niche but strong community. I really hope they do us justice and begin with having a ranked Swat playlist, as well as making Swat feel enjoyable to play. There will be a lot of new features in Infinite, and I hope they don’t get in the way of the Swat experience!
Hopefully it plays like Halo 3 And Halo Reach. In my opinion those were the best for swat

They better have ranked SWAT and Snipers at launch.

I’ve never played Halo 5, only up to Reach and now MCC. I’m aware of Swat Nation, and I have my own Swat Club of a small community of dedicated Swat Players so I’m hoping to grow that and that the Swat community thrives in Infinite!

Yeah I think the same always loved it.
Personally I wouldn’t say SWAT has a niche player base, it’s typically a fan favourite for Arena.
I imagine it’ll be a ranked playlist like it has been in Halo 5.
BR start etc, the same as usual.
I don’t think there will be any equipment pick ups, SWAT is a pretty barebones experience and I feel like equipment could change the flow of the mode a bit too much
I personally love swat, and always come back to it in Reach
I think they might just remove the armor abilities from the mode just to have it as regular SWAT.

I don’t recall there being any grenades in any Swat. Why should there be now?

hopefully they are creative with their modes like shotty snipers (forgot the names of the other modes)

Have you played MCC Swat? H2 or H3 has grenades. Also, I would rather just have a BR. I find it annoying in Ranked game to keep changing the weapon.
MCC has grenades in Halo 3. I don’t mind the grenades as you can use them tactically and they spice up the match. However, please, PLEASE do away with the pistols. SWATNUMS and RECON SWAT make all Swat-players groan when we get that gametype.

You only need one weapon in SWAT, it’s the best way to play
